一间好的酒店，不单是依靠它的房间来显示它的品质，更要依靠它的综合配置和服务水平来令它在同业中脱颖而出。 我预订了这间酒店的SPA服务。 我是一位亚洲脸，来自中国，有一位亚洲脸员工从我进入SPA大厅开始，她对着我一直是张冷脸。也许是她投入了太多热情到服务一位欧美客人中，以至她没有剩余的友好值来面对我。 我选做了热石按摩，被技师告知如果感觉烫要告诉她。途中我被烫了7、8次，告诉了她5、6次，但每一次都没有得到任何回音，前三次我甚至以为她是听不到我（因为这时我是趴在按摩床上，脸朝下）。后来我发现她虽然不应声，但是在手法上有改变，于是我知道她是听到了却不给我回应。 Chi SPA的装修质感是不错的，软件设施也挺好。员工的服务素质有待提高。 自助餐厅的前台女接待员也基本都板着个脸。而餐区员工表现得热情周到。 在中餐厅我点的菜的味道都很不错，其中一道菜的食材出了错，和主厨说明后，他为我们退了菜并赠予了一碟新菜和一份水果拼盘。我们很受用啊，因为人家的工作态度是好的。后来我们聊了很久，他很热情的。

Quick check in/out. Clean/Comfortable room and washroom comparable to western standards. Connected to Galle face mall. Daily room cleaning. Nice exterior pool on 4th floor overlooking the Galle face beach.

Amazing service, breakfast buffet and the Shang Palace is definitely worth a visit! A perfect place to unwind and get over jet lag.

Not what I expected from Shangri la brand but it’s okay ! There are many areas where they can improve one of them is service staff near the smoking zone cafe. Either they are super busy or they won’t bother about guests at all. You keep asking for coffee or something and they will make sure you have to ask a couple of time before they serve you one

We recently stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo and had an overall excellent experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably clean, and the service throughout was professional and warm. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the facilities throughout the hotel were of a very high standard. The only reason I am not giving a full five-star rating is due to the breakfast experience on our first morning, which unfortunately did not meet the expectations one would have of a hotel of this calibre. We were seated in a far section not typically used for breakfast, which was quite far from the food stations and had no staff presence to assist us. The egg station was understaffed, with only one chef and limited service plates, and basic condiments like salt and pepper were missing from the tables. Additionally, only instant oats were available rather than cooked oats, and there was no hot milk jug provided—something we've found standard at other five-star hotels. That said, we are pleased to note that these issues were addressed in the following days, and the breakfast experience significantly improved, reflecting the service standard we expected from Shangri-La. Despite the rocky start to our mornings, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Thank you to the staff for making the rest of our visit so enjoyable.

Best recommendation to use this hotel and save time to walk around mall and good tasty.

Stay was amazing very beautiful hotel with awesome amenities. Was upgraded for honeymoon. On site coffee shop baker and capital bar were great stops and meals
