While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road.

Hotel Harder Minerva is located close to the Main Street in Interlaken West. It’s within minutes walk from the Bahnhofplatz, parks and more. From our room we could see para gliders drifting down from the mountains. It was great to be in a town centre but still feel at rest because we were surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was sufficient each morning and if one chooses not to go out in town for dinner, there is a Chinese restaurant on the ground floor.

There is no door person. Check in is the same as cashier as Chinese Restaurant. Hair dyer not working. No one to help when needed. Office close at 9:00 PM until the next morning. If help needed. No one there to help. Light in room is limited. Highly not recommended. There is not any staff service.

Cheap hotel very well located in the city center.
Rooms are small (can be noisy depending on the neighbors) and quite old but clean. There is a common living room where is a fridge and a microwave oven, which allows heating meals.
Breakfast is included but as we stayed there, the only hot beverage was tea as the coffee/hot milk/ machine was out of order.
No parking at the hotel, there are several ones around but are expensive.

It wasn’t the best hotel room that I have stayed at the staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a good spread with different things to eat. The room however, was not what I was expecting, the bathroom was small and had a weird smell the bed was comfortable but the blanket and pillows were a weird texture. Overall it was ok and the staff were excellent

They lie about their property and room on the website. The actual rooms are not as big and clean. You cannot walk in the room . The bathroom door cannot open fully. No light on the bathroom. Bad odor the building and room,

good and quiet location. has good amenities, common fridge, mucrowave , snacks and fruits. breakfast could is good.
negative- upon our arrival, receptionist did not even acknowledge our presence and was busy talking on the phone for 15 mins. not hntil i called their emergency tel number which was next to the receptionist and thats when she got my attention. when asked, she claims thst she was talking to the manager. that evening upon checking in officially , i told the manager working that eveningwhat transpired during our arrival and she told us that she will talk to receptionist. i hope such will not happen again.

Great location near promenade, river, and main Interlaken streets. Staff was friendly, informative, and let us store our luggage when we arrived early before check in and when we left later after check out. Breakfast was so so for the price, I preferred the coffee shop a minute away. We had the balcony room at the front and had a great view of the mountains in both directions (if the weather is clear). Only downside was a portable AC unit, opening windows was more effective but made it loud, and the room was small all around.
