ベルンの街全体が世界遺産なので、歴史を感じるエレベーターも、コツのいるドアの鍵も内装も物語の世界に入ったようで、大変ワクワクしました。窓は観音開きの二重ガラスで、網戸はありません。虫はいません。エアコンがないので、暑がりの人は困るかもしれないです。クローゼットの中に扇風機があり、つけると過ごしやすくなります。デスクの上の電気スタンドは付け方が分かりませんでした。狭いようにも思いますが、トラムの駅がホテル前にあり、立地がいいので、また泊まりたいです。朝食も美味しかったです。
シャワールームトイレ洗面がコンパクトにまとまっています。洗濯干用ロープを張ると、タオルなどを掛けられて脱衣に便利でした。

Beautiful historic building with high ceilings. Comfortable beds. Tram noise and people outside require closed windows at night. Friendly front desk staff, restaurant staff seemed put out.

Ich habe im 4. Stock gewohnt. Bis 17 Uhr läuft ein riesiger Ventilator, der den Aufenthalt im Zimmer unmöglich macht (angesichts der Hitze und der Notwendigkeit, die Fenster offen zu halten). Beim Check-in wird man nicht darauf hingewiesen, weshalb ich nach dem Ventilator gefragt habe: Es wäre für die Angestellte ein Leichtes gewesen, mich darauf hinzuweisen, dass der Ventilator bis 17 Uhr läuft.
Ein weiterer negativer Punkt ist, dass das Zimmer zu einer Öffnung hin liegt, die an allen vier Seiten und auch vom Dach aus geschlossen ist, sodass es praktisch sinnlos ist, die Fenster zu öffnen, um etwas Abkühlung (bei 34 Grad draußen kann man sich gut vorstellen, dass es auch in den Zimmern heiß ist) oder einfach nur etwas frische Luft zu genießen.
Ich empfehle das Hotel nicht, obwohl die Sauberkeit einwandfrei und die Lage absolut günstig ist.

All staff made us feel very welcome and no question was too much trouble for them. Suggestions were also made to allow us to save money.
Great location, a short walk from the main train station and only a few blocks from the old town area.
We used the Bern Welcome ticket to take a tram from almost right outside the hotel to the Gurtenbahn and had a lovely lunch at the top and rode the Rodelbahn
Had a lovely time in Bern and would stay here again.

Selve hotellet har noget charme, med tæpperne på trappen og den gamle elevator.
Vi havde et ille værelse øverst oppe. Rent og pænt sengetøj, og lidt hård men ok seng. Meget lille men ok badeværelse, håndklæderne var dog tynde og ru som karton. Gulvet på værelset var ikke pænt, og havde pletter overalt som om der var spildt væsker. Morgenmaden var indtil kl. 10 men kl. 9 var der næsten ingenting tilbage, og det var et ringe udvalg. De havde ikke nogen brødkniv, men kun et gammelt værktøj fra 1800-tallet til at skære brød med. Receptionens personale var venlige og rare.

Ich empfehle das Hotel nicht, obwohl die Sauberkeit einwandfrei und die Lage absolut günstig ist.

Great location, a short walk from the main train station and only a few blocks from the old town area.
We used the Bern Welcome ticket to take a tram from almost right outside the hotel to the Gurtenbahn and had a lovely lunch at the top and rode the Rodelbahn
Had a lovely time in Bern and would stay here again.
