Waldorf Astoria Bangkok

I booked a 4-night stay in a Deluxe Suite under single occupancy, as my partner was unable to join me at the time of booking. At the last minute my partner could join 3 of the 4 nights. I attempted to notify the property, but it repeatedly led to an error page. As a result, I informed the front desk in person upon check-in. At check-in, I clearly explained that an additional guest would be staying for the latter three nights. I was told that there would be an extra charge for breakfast, which I fully understood and immediately agreed to pay. The staff member confirmed this arrangement, an instructed me to return when my partner arrived for passport registration. We followed these instructions on day 2. However, the staff member on duty at that time took was rather unfriendly and rigid in manner. After explaining that I was willing to pay the extra breakfast charges, he then checked the system and insisted it was not the only additional cost, and he was willing to let this time "slide". This conversation was very bad taste. I was fully willing to pay any legitimate additional charges; however, these were not mentioned or explained clearly on the first day, despite my proactively informing the front desk and agreeing to the charges that were communicated at that time. Furthermore, the comment that the matter would be allowed to “slide” was inappropriate and unnecessary. I was not attempting to avoid payment and was found accused of it. Overall ruined the trip and holiday

The hotel staff is very meticulous and attentive. When we were having drinks at the rooftop bar, we noticed that the window seats were fully occupied. However, when some guests left, the staff immediately arranged a window seat for us, which was very heartwarming. Additionally, the service and food at their Western restaurant on the 55th floor are top-notch; I believe this is one of the best places for steak in Bangkok. The room is elegantly decorated and spacious, featuring exquisite decor that makes it very comfortable. The sound insulation of the room is excellent, and it is equipped with a smart home control system, enhancing the convenience and comfort of our stay.

It’s truly a great experience in here. Everything is perfect!

從來未換3次的房間，房間也很清楚外面的聲音，隔音很差 ！洗手間的水也不夠熱！開水時也會有聲音！付上照片！還有破損的房間號碼！我還有錄影的 ！

It’s my third time to stay in this hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. however, a big construction site just screws up the view badly. Noise from this site will bother us from 8am to 6pm. The room gets a little dilapidated which is not as shiny as i stayed before. location is best as it is near central point, siam and chitlom.

You will never be disappointed after you stay in Waldorf. From the staff to the room, all in first class. I stay in many hotels before in Bangkok and this one is the best.

Convenient and Quiet. Decent and relaxing environment. Staffs with nice smaile.

Everything here is superb except the view outside. It’s close to BTS Chitlom and famous four faces Buddha temple. Must try!
