Staff and service are no doubt five stars! Breakfast is good, relatively less number of dishes. But, every dish stirs up your appetite. The breakfast restaurant has a wonderful view of the Galata Tower, too.
Because of the location and original building structure I think, the lobby isn’t perfect at busy time. The other issue we had was the street party noise until 2AM… This time it didn’t bother us too much simply because we were so tired every night! Hotel did offer to move us to non-street facing side of the hotel. We told the hotel management we’re OK. Just curious that Istanbul city allows the party until 2AM…

No support from front desk. Had checked in at midnight only to sleep but had to c/out early morning. Screaming next rooms even though I had asked several times for a silent room. Given 2nd floor which was closer to the noise and also slamming doors when asked they said it can happen I should ve told before?.. and even welcome note had another surname of a man which was very disappointing and so very careless. No apologies not even a proper reply from all 3 persons just standing at the front desk.. Please pay half and go anywhere near for a peaceful & respectful stay.

electrical problems every room. lights and a/c turned on and off by themselves when we were sleeping every night - issues with the motion sensors for sure. staff was ok but not comparable to Peninsula across the street.

The Marriott was located at a great location where it allowed us to walk to either side of Istanbul to the areas we wanted to visit. The hotel and the room were clean and new. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely come back again the next time I visit Istanbul

Historic property, very well maintained. Great location, walking distance to Galataport, in the heart of the port area, where nice shopping, restaurants and bars are located.

Incredible stay at the JW Marriott! The service was top-tier from breakfast to the Octo bar. A special thanks to Kerem for the delicious welcome drink and warm greeting. We also really appreciated how responsive and professional guest services were when we reported a smell in our room, they handled it immediately. Highly recommend for the service and the views!

Wonderful stay. The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is top notch and close to everything for walking or a short car ride. We were on our honeymoon and they provided us a nice welcome cake and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. Would highly recommend this place.
