What’s not to love about the Six Senses in Kaplankaya. From the moment you arrive the staff do everything in their power to make your stay as pleasant as possible and to accommodate your every wish. The service, rooms, food quality and the facilities are all exceptional. The farm to table, sustainability ethos and attention to detail is evident throughout the resort. We felt the sincerity in dealing with all the restaurant, beach and spa attendants but special mention to James, Mustafa, Ahmet, Emel and Taha who all went above and beyond.

The food was not good. The property is nice but the view was not good at all.

Absolutely enjoyed every moment of our stay. Perfect atmosphere and the best hospitality management I’ve ever experienced in Turkiye. Each staff member deserves the best recognition for being such friendly and caring 🙏.Greatly recommended!

Genel olarak otel sürdürülebilirlik konsepti açısından gerçekten etkileyici. Odalar şık, ferah ve oldukça kullanışlı tasarlanmış. Spa merkezi büyük ve kaliteli; otelin en güçlü taraflarından biri diyebilirim. Ayrıca 3 farklı plajı bulunuyor. Plajlar temiz, deniz ise oldukça güzel ve keyifliydi. Ancak hizmet kalitesi tarafında ciddi eksikler olduğunu düşünüyorum. Kahvaltı, bu seviyedeki bir otel için maalesef oldukça zayıf kaldı. Gittiğimiz tüm restoranlarda ve beach barlarda personel deneyimsiz görünüyordu. Sipariş süreleri çok uzun, hatta à la carte restoranlarda bile servis oldukça yavaştı. Çalışanlar sık sık siparişleri unutuyor veya eksik getiriyordu. Açıkçası bu seviyede ve bu fiyat segmentindeki bir otelde hizmet kalitesinin bu kadar düşük olması şaşırtıcıydı. Otelin her şey dahil konseptte olmaması belki bu durumu biraz daha tolere edilebilir kılıyor. Ayrıca beach menülerinin de oldukça kısıtlı olduğunu düşünüyorum. Genel değerlendirme olarak, Türkiye’de benzer bütçelerde çok daha iyi hizmet veren oteller olduğunu düşünüyorum. Bu nedenle tekrar ziyaret etmeyi düşünmüyorum.

Spa mükemmeldi, gördüğüm en güzel Spalardan biri diyebilirim. Tüm çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi ancak çalışanlardan özellikle Maria Hanım çok ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Her konuda bize yardımcı oldu.

Beautiful setting, very nice room, gardens, amazing spa, very nice breakfast, very nice staff. Food prices are way over done, it is in the middle of nowhere so hard to visit anything outside of the resort. But for a relaxing holiday, this place is perfect.

We spent a week at Six Senses Kaplankaya and cannot recommend it enough overall. Although about an hour’s drive from the airport through hills and villages, the journey is well worth it once you arrive at this sanctuary of peace and beauty. The highlight is the staff: from the personalised GEM service by Melis, to the professional restaurant and spa teams, and the ground staff who ran daily activities — everyone made us feel welcome. Our maid, who provided thoughtful twice-daily service, left a lasting impression even though we didn’t catch her name. The spa was outstanding, with treatments that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed a variety of complimentary activities, which kept the week engaging. Along with access to the numerous beaches, gym, yoga and sports facilities. Dining is a mixed point: the restaurants serve delicious meals, but it can become expensive and limited if staying more than a few nights. On the other hand, breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of fresh options to enjoy throughout the week. On arrival, however, there was no welcome drink and my VIP status was not acknowledged — no upgrades, discounts, or added benefits, which was disappointing. That said, the check-in process was quick and efficient. Overall, this is not just a resort — it’s a destination where you can truly relax, reset, and feel cared for at every moment. We left deeply refreshed and are already considering a return.

What an amazing property. Everything from the food to the service to the amenities was top notch. Taha was excellent and really did the most to make sure our stay was great. The food is incredible and so fresh. Highly recommend staying here.

Extremely Disappointing Experience. We chose this hotel expecting a world-class experience. What we got was neglect and indifference. My wife became seriously ill with food poisoning after dining in the hotel’s restaurant on the first night. We ordered a locally caught fish which was grilled just for us. Only we ate this. We lost 3 out of the 5 days, my wife confined to our room not to rest, but unable to leave. The level of hygiene in the outside restaurant was shocking. When our fish dish arrived, the waiter leaned in so close to the plate — face nearly in the food — as he checked for bones. He wasn’t wearing a mask, continually wiped his nose on his sleeve mid-service, and the blue medical gloves he put on as he pulled out the bones had been stuffed in his trouser pocket. This was downright unsanitary. The hotel made no real effort to take responsibility, instead trying to shift the blame to elsewhere. There was no concern shown to my wife, apology made to her or even a question directly to her on departure as to how she was. Be aware too of the fish farm directly opposite the hotel. The fish slime coats the sea water where you swim in the bay. The hotel try to keep on top of the slime but that’s a hard task and not always do they succeed. Small pool area over in with kids and left messy by those who use it.

Peaceful property with a few beach options and great spa! Fantastic breakfast buffet!

Fabulous hotel. We stayed both here and the Mandarin O in Bodrum and this hotel blew the MO out of the water in every sense. Six Senses was brilliant - from the staff, the level of personalisation, the spa, the beaches, the free baby food… just fantastic! We will be back.
