The property was fine. Our room was new. Lobby great. Buffet breakfast was good. When we came back one night. There were bags of trash on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. The next morning they were gone. But there was trash in front of the hotel. On the way to the shuttle was awful. So if you can catch a uber in front. You will be spared the ugliness. That happened on the way to the airport shuttle. Which was right around the corner.

We got a great deal- second time staying at this hotel. Rooms are modern-large. Nice accommodations. Staff extremely friendly and courteous. Definitely would stay again. Close to many trains. Just be a little mindful- the street can be a little sketchy- just beware of your surroundings.

Expedia Group verified review

The central air conditioning in the room is broken, and they placed a portable air conditioner, but it’s also faulty. When turned on, it makes such a loud noise that it’s impossible to sleep. The front desk staff were very arrogant, claiming it was our problem and that no one had complained before. That’s because the weather in New York has gotten cold recently, and that’s why we needed to use the air conditioner. They assumed it was the guest’s problem without even understanding the issue. This is not the way to solve the problem!

When we arrived the smell of urine was so strong in the entryway. Luckily this was gone the next day when we left for the day. Staff was nice. We had asked them to hold our luggage which they agreed to, gave us claim tickets and then never moved the luggage to the backroom. It was in plain site by the FD for three hours. Wide selection of breakfast foods, but it kept running out. Luckily they had a lot of seating.

This hotel was ok. It was sufficiently clean and the staff were friendly enough. It’s in midtown so there wa a lot of garbage and unhoused people hanging around. It’s very close We had a mishap and asked maintenance to come and they came right away

The room was great. Comfortable and clean. This part of the city was surprisingly quiet! What a great plus! The breakfast was good - morning coffee under the glass dome breakfast nook looking up at the sky and the skyscrapers was wonderful.

This location was great for easy access to Penn Station and getting back & forth to the US Open 🎾. Lots a great bars, food trucks & delis. Only drawback was the valet parking which was pricey ($70 plus tax) per day. STAFF was very helpful, we will be back!

Expedia Group verified review

The central air conditioning in the room is broken, and they placed a portable air conditioner, but it’s also faulty. When turned on, it makes such a loud noise that it’s impossible to sleep. The front desk staff were very arrogant, claiming it was our problem and that no one had complained before. That’s because the weather in New York has gotten cold recently, and that’s why we needed to use the air conditioner. They assumed it was the guest’s problem without even understanding the issue. This is not the way to solve the problem!
