Perfect place to stay in Grand Canyon Park. We really loved this lodge! Nice and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean. Wonderful view! Highly recommended

The Yavapai Tavern's staff was terrible. I didn't sign a tips, and I wrote the amount of $56.6,but the old cashier just change what I wrote to the amount $66.6 after I left. He's totally a thief!

At first they put me in a different room than booked. When i told what i booked the lady became angry. Her co-worker tried to help but then she became angry at her. Also at her male co-worker who tried to help. Told the room i booked was only for tourists, which for a fact i am. finally i received the right room but it smelled like urine. Because of the behaviour of the lady at the reception i did not want to return. Thats on me. But the whole check in experience was horrible. Not what i had expected, since 2 years ago they made me feel so welcome. But this year from moment 1 i felt a burden. (Mention: this was only applied to the 2 older ladys, the young workers tried to help me and made me feel welcome) First impression is all, and the 2 lady’s distroyd it.

Property was conveniently located in the Grand Canyon Village. Hall way and steps was not kept cleaned, and needed improvement. Carpet was worn out. The room and the bathroom was not well lit. The bath tub needed improvement.
