Except no enough clear sign nir map to find the room all others are oerfect

Amazing staff. Wonderful hotel. Everything was above and beyond expectations. Location was phenomenal. Walking distance from so many great restaurants, coffee shops, etc in Zamalek (think Soho in NYC) grab a coffee and pastry at Simonds about half a mile down on the left. Was one of the best parts of our stay. Hotel service was impeccable. We stayed at the Ritz on the other side of the Nile last time and we thought that was wonderful, but this was on a whole different level.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a fabulous, varied breakfast, very clean, comfortable rooms and nice quiet, friendly atmosphere. The best thing about it is the staff. Everyone is exceedingly helpful, the front desk personnel, the people who take care of the rooms, the breakfast staff, and the nice concierge who helped me every day. This was a really good experience and I certainly hope to be back. Even the nice dog working at the gate and his handler deserve notice! Thank you everyone for making my stay so enjoyable.

Incredible stay in this old historic palace converted into a beautiful hotel. The amenities were plentiful, the morning buffet was delicious, views of the city and the Nile River, it's close to lots of great restaurants and activities on El Gazirah. We would 100% stay here again. We also stayed at the Sofitel which was much more younger crowd (our age), trendy, and also beautiful, so just keep in mind this Marriott tends towards the slightly older refined crowd, rather than young and hip.

Great place to stay in Cairo.

I can't say enough about the staff in particular. It's a beautiful hotel that was a former palace with good security, but truly he people were fantastic. A special call out to security and Mohamed Azny in the concierge department. My friends and I were waiting for a private car to take us on our tour when we accidentally got in the wrong car. We immediately realized it and jumped in the correct car. I accidentally left my purse including my passport and wallet in the back seat of the incorrect car. Mohamed reviewed security tap and sent me the car plate # and kept in constant communication with me as I only realized I had left my purse once we arrived in Alexandria. He assured me I would get my purse back and helped coordinate with the staff. Fortunately, the other driver returned after he took his group on a tour to return the purse. I am very well traveled and have never been in this situation, but I can assure you this is some of the best security and service you will find. The breakfast was also lovely, as well as the 18th floor, dinner at the Steakhouse and also dinner on the patio. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room view was amazing the property grounds and decor was amazingly beautiful like a jaipur palace. Love love the location. Service from the staff was next level. Love the pastry and coffee at the lobby and the late checkout allowance was so lovely they were sweet for accommodating us

Vi sono camere e zone molto diverse. In genere è una bellissima struttura con un corpo centrale antico, affacciato sul giardino e sulla bella piscina, dove si trovano la lobby, concierge, ristoranti, sala colazione e sale varie per ricevimenti, due torri collegate e vari edifici più bassi posti a semicerchio. La colazione è ottima e varia, la lounge executive piacevole con una scelta di cibo (principalmente nella fascia oraria serale) adeguata (ho visto di molto meglio ma si tratta comunque di un servizio di ottimo livello). Quanto alle camere mentre quelle executive della torre, seppur non nuovissime, erano belle e curate, la diplomatic suite , è stata decisamente una delusione (vecchia, con affaccio su un parcheggio, odore di fumo; inoltre abbiamo atteso per ore sino a notte fonda l’arrivo del terzo letto, regolarmente prenotato), solo per questo motivo non ho dato il massimo dei voti alla struttura.

I will be happy to stay at the hotel next time.
