When we checked in, the hotel was overbooked, and although we had a reservation, we were assigned a different room with two beds instead of one. To compensate, we received two breakfast coupons. The location is very convenient, especially for evening outings. The hotel is old, and although it was renovated, it still shows signs of aging beyond just surface appearance.

Very noisy air conditioning in the room. We did not sleep well.

Hotel Arts was great. The staff were very helpful. The decorations were very beautiful. I definitely recommend.

This hotel has great amenities. Came down from Edmonton for a relaxing girls trip and lounging by the pool was perfect!

Loved the daily pool parties...added a very nice vibe to a hotel that is situated centrally, clean and has a ton of helpful staff. We're coming back next time in Calgary

Staff are always really helpful & rooms are lovely. Great location when I am in Calgary for work with lots of restaurants nearby.

When staying at the hotel you should be able to use the hotel pool for any length of time, was not impressed with the time limits on use

Book the pool ahead of time. We didn’t realize we had to… and it was so funn. We had to wait

Excellent stay at this establishment. Hotel was super clean. Comfortable bed and rooms. Underground parking and city views. Close to Calgary tower and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Would absolutely stay here again another time.

The lobby and pool are extremely nice, the staff were very accommodating. However the rooms are very clearly (poorly) renovated and had the feel that a million other people had slept in it, which if you've stayed in a few hotels you know the feeling. Knowing a million other people have stayed in the room and smelling and feeling like a million other people have stayed in it is different. Took a chance on this "upscale" hotel but id rather stay at The Dorian or another Marriott hotel. Stay was fine, just didnt care for the rooms.

Most of the staff was very kind and always smiling except for the night front desk crews, they didn’t say anything, hi or good evening at all. The found hair on the wall in the bathtub but I mean, not a big deal I guess, just make sure you wear your sandals. After that everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Bait and switch - I ordrrrd breakfast included but when I arrived they said it’s only a voucher for limited dollars and the menus was super expensive I was only able to order cereal at 19$!!! Also had to pay taxes on top of it

I booked this hotel specifically for the outdoor pool. The pool was very small and on the weekends it was packed. You needed to make a reservation for a spot at the pool. A specific spot. There were couches and chairs with cushions but nowhere to actually lay on a lounge chair in the sun. The weekend felt like I was on a Love Island tv show with so many people at the pool and the music blaring. The hotel has really hit the mark of that was thier intention. For myself, they completely missed the mark. The rooms were fine and the staff very pleasant.
