Room is cleaned when I requested

Everything else was fine and met our expectations. However, we had a disappointing experience with the hotel staff. A cleaner opened our room door without knocking or announcing themselves, and another cleaner asked which room we were staying in because they wanted to clean it, even though we had not checked out yet. The hotel should provide better training to its housekeeping staff and remind them not to disturb guests unnecessarily. We found this behavior rude and unprofessional.

Location was great. Close to all of amenities in walkable distance. I got to see many airplanes going to land. Can be noisy at times. Room was a decent size. Room wasn’t the best cosmetically but it served its purpose. Bathroom sink and tub were barely draining, water pooled in the tub and sink. Staff were great, they were helpful and fixed issues in a timely matter.

Uncomfortable bed and loud hall noise between midnight and 2. Did not use other amenities; just a place to sleep to attend a work function the following day.

First off, the Viscount Gort is sandwiched between two busy highways and doesn't look great from outside - in fact, I thought it looked almost abandoned when I arrived. But, inside it's much better, and despite the highways there was little traffic noise overnight and I slept really well. The staff at check in were welcoming, and the bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable, with vinyl floors instead of carpet. TV, fridge and coffee machine were all fine : there was a microwave but didn't use it. The bathroom was OK, water pressure and hot water in the shower were fine, although there was only a small narrow shelf in the bathroom to place any personal items. Breakfast in the very quiet restaurant was great, with a good choice of items and it seemed like good value. The restaurant is also open for lunch, but in the evening, you'd have to use the sports bar off the lobby which has a small bar menu. I had to deduct on point for the "maintenance" score because there was a fire in an elevator when I was there, putting both of them out of action and meaning that I had to walk down 5 flights with luggage.

Amazing restaurant and Sunday Brunch. Beds very comfortable and swimming pool and waterside alot of fun.

The hallways were quite dated and dirty looking that it felt like I was in the movie of the Shining. The noise level at night was terrible from rooms around. The lobby smelled like smoke. The staff were nice but the dating of the hotel is showing unfortunately. The room itself was decent but hard to sleep when it was so loud from the outside and other rooms

Would recommend the Viscount.

Was a great stay. Close by to the shopping mall as well. Walking distance. To the bank and restaurant near by. Great hotel to stay. Price of accommodation was reasonable.

The bathroom door was broken and would not shut in one of our rooms. And there was kids running in the halls until 1am unattended. Rooms were clean. Was easy check in and check out.

Upon arrival our room was on the fourth floor. I booked two queen beds, our room had double beds, were hard and squeaky. The toilet was lifting off the floor and it was gross and outdated. I requested a better room and got out on the fifth floor. Room was better, but not a nice place to stay.

I really liked going to the bar to have a conversation and drink after the pool. A very comfortable night

I enjoyed staying at this hotel, I’m happy with everyone and every thing, I have no complaints and I will definitely be staying at viscount again in the future

Hotel was not sound proof. Noise in the hallway 4th floor came right into the room. Rooms looked dated. Free parking was a nice bonus.

Beware. They don’t have an airport shuttle as advertised. Decent, but not high end hotel . Price is reasonable.
