breakfast is great

The hotel is quite old the room window is no sound proof so you can hear the traffic pass during night sleep and during morning. The air conditioning in the room is set for cold so cannot turn to warm so very cold in oct even when you switch off the air conditioning. The shower water is very difficult to control which cold for long time almost when I finish shower turn into warm. In the morning when you want sleep you can hear the housekeeping is cleaning outside. The double bed is two bed put together which not comfortable. Overall is not recommeded is not value for money. I feel is not a very comfortable.

The best location within the Gothic Quarter. Staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. We loved the Roman ruins inside the new section of the hotel. We did have a problem with a leak and dripping from the a/c unit and it was repaired quickly.

Wonderful staff, super helpful. They have rooms with multiple beds which are great for families travelling with children. Super clean and the breakfast buffet was outstanding but what really stood out was the staff. Top-notch service!

Staff was wonderful Location is great

Clean rooms and all the staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever go back to Barcelona we will stay here. Our room had a large balcony which we reserved over a year ago and it was worth the money. We enjoyed a bottle of wine every night on our balcony. It just added to our experience

Einwandfrei und vollkommen zufrieden. Vom Ceck In bis zum Check out hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Die Lage von Hotel ist perfekt zentral und man kommt leicht von Ort zu Ort ob zu Fuß oder mit der Metro die in der Nähe vom Hotel ist. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt würde ich mich für das Hotel wieder entscheiden.

Great location. Clean and spacious and washroom is bigger than what we usually get in Barcelona. Staff were attentive and extremely wonderful. Had a few minor issues and it was dealt with quickly. Wish they have free drinking water to fill up our water bottles and a common microwave we can use like some hotels offer. Otherwise, it was just perfect and we will definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful property in the perfect location. The bar level is a must-see - we were blown away! Our terrace was extremely spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and would choose again on future stays in Barcelona.

Disappointed with this booking and glad we only stayed one night. Was given a room on the 4th floor but learned that we couldn’t take the regular guest elevator to the 4th floor because there isn’t even a button for the 4th floor. No idea why they skipped that floor but we learned that we needed to take the employee elevator to get to our room. Water temperature went back and forth from really hot to cold so that made our showers uncomfortable. AC did not work, just shot out hot air so we had to turn it off. The staff said they could not switch us to another room bc the hotel was fully booked and that maintenance would come the next day to address our room issues. As mentioned, we were only staying one night so their response made the situation even more frustrating. They also offered nothing to make up for these issues.
