Harrogate is a nice place to visit. And Yorkshire is well located in front of nice greening and very handy to a lot of shops and restaurants. The breakfast is very nice with nice view. I would definitely want to come visit again

Really lovely overnight stay in a room with a balcony. Convenient location in the centre of Harrogate. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with gorgeous high ceilings and a comfortable king size bed. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar in the evening and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely visit again. The large balcony was a definate bonus, with a nice seating area to look out over the park with a glass of wine!

Lovely hotel - clean super comfortable and stylish rooms. So appreciated the Yorkshire tea and biscuits!

Disappointing. Parking is very tight. I had to change rooms as it was like an oven despite a portable air-conditioning unit and 2 large fans bing on when I arrived. Couldn't leave the window open as it was a basement room and kitchen staff were smoking outside and the security lights were on outside all night. I managed a few hours sleep. Luckily they changed my room the following day.

There was nothing unique about this hotel, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. I would warn people with disabilities about access issues at the front of the property, there are several stairs to climb and no ramp. To be fair, if you can arrive/enter at the back entrance, it's mainly on the flat, so I'd recommend this as the best option. There are two lifts in the hotel to help you reach your room, although you may have to wait a while as both can be busy, indeed one of the lifts is limited to carrying just two passengers at a time. Prices at the bar are not what you'd class as competitive, a bit overpriced in my opinion as is the breakfast. Do ask about what's the best time/place to book the breakfast as the price can vary which I found somewhat odd. Overall, it was fine, nothing exceptional, quite close to amenities and very clean, but I'm guessing there's better in this nice town, you'd just have to seek out better reviews than mine.Apologies.

Lovely hotel in prime location, could do with more lifts as often clogged up with hotel staff

We had a lovely stay at the Yorkshire,the restaurant was excellent. We were in room 105 and sadly the noise from a kitchen door constantly opening and banging shut every 20 seconds or so directly beneath us meant it was very noisy until about midnight. The hotel needs to employ a joiner to correct the the door, also the room becomes extremely warm as a result of it's location. Saying that we enjoyed our stay.

Single room small but clean. Fine for one night. Large shower room, shower excellent. Some parts needed a redec. Bit noisy in the morning as onlt single glazed due to heritage of building. Bar good, travelling companion was impressed with Sunday Roast. Excellent location and value. Overnight parking cheaper elsewhere.

One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Clean and spacious bathroom and a really nice breakfast too.

The Yorkshire is very impressive with lovely decor and friendly staff. We were allocated room 111 and we opened the door and were hit by a wall of heat. We thought we’d turn the radiators down but they were already off. There was no chance of opening a window as there were no windows in the room! There were 3 fans in the room but they circulated hot air. We went to reception to ask for a room change but the hotel was full. We spent a very uncomfortable night. I dread to think what it would be like in hot weather as it was 16 degrees and raining. When we checked out, one of the staff said they wouldn’t have coped without windows. It is unacceptable to keep renting out rooms that are really not to a standard people would reasonably expect.

Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Parking is tight and £15 per night for guests. No air con in rooms so they get very warm. We were above the pub entrance area on the 2nd floor so noisy around 7am. In a great location for the centre of Harrogate and would stay again and ask for a room on the front where it’s likely to be less noisy

Lovely hotel and very central. Parking can be a bit hit and miss as it’s first come first served. Don’t think they should allow non residents to park there.

Rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. We got a parking space outside the hotel which was a bonus.

Rooms were lovely and clean but it was like a sauna in the rooms during the heat wave. Wouldn't return during the a heat wave again. Was directed to another parking area 5 minuites away which the hotel directed us to as no parking areas available at the hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Need to get air conditioning. Overall a lovely hotel, in a great location. We have stayed many times,.but on this occasion it was let down by the very scruffy towels which should have been replaced long before now.

Lovely hotel in a perfect position in the Centre of Harrogate. Parking is a problem at the Hotel but use West PArk Car Park - £9 for 24 hours and just a 5 minute walk.

Hotel fab, staff and service excellent - disappointed in the pickled sprout restaurant, a very heavy unseasonal menu for our liking, sharers hard to share unless you both like the same thing - not enough balance, starters missing meat options and a burger including chips was no veggie options - I’m not veggie) which, they may be fab quality, but need to recognise the market isn’t always captive

I would have given this hotel 5 stars because the staff were genuinely lovely and provided great service. The location was beautiful and the hotel itself was very nice. However… The shower pressure was extremely poor — the water flow was very weak. I was told that this is just how it is, which was disappointing. The parking situation also wasn’t ideal. Even though there are electric vehicle charging bays, non‑electric cars were allowed to park in them. As a result, I had to park in a regular bay and couldn’t charge my car. I was told it’s on a first‑come, first‑served basis, which makes me wonder why the EV chargers are there if they aren’t reserved for EVs

very nice hotel but room is not 110 is facing the bins for the bars which was horrid, late at night early morning all you heard was bins banging. parking was very limited, good location right in the centre
