Negatives-Terrible noise pollution from nearby pubs & clubs until 5am. Our rooms 333 & 334 suffered damp bedding due to faulty air conditioning throughout our stay this also caused a musty smell and black mold was present around the unit and our room especially the bathroom-We quickly became ill. Some reception staff are quite rude and dismissive and don’t want to help resolve the issues, denying or using excuses for any issues we faced instead of trying to rectify them. The exception being Javier & Ekaterina who had good customer service & tried to help me resolve the issues I was facing even though they couldn’t. The bar staff are extremely rude and the quality of drinks and snacks is poor. We preferred a short walk to Dialprix Paradero supermarket to buy our drinks and snacks. They have a deli for sandwiches, boxed salads & coffees Hassle getting free €38 food credit due-had to email our proof to the hotel & Expedia helped Positives-the cleaning staff are fantastic and do a great job. The breakfast included with our stay was decent, and the catering staff were brilliant with my son’s coeliac and wheat allergy making sure he always had pancakes or omelette made fresh and free from contamination. The area around the hotel is quite grimy and feels unsafe. We were also warned by local shops to be cautious in this area. Overall- it wouldn’t be a hotel or area I would revisit, however a short trip to los Cristianos or Costa Adeje & you get a much nicer impression of Tenerife

Nous avons apprécié l'hôtel Alexandre Gala dans son ensemble, l'accueil, la restauration, l'emplacement de l'hôtel près de la plage et du centre ville de la troya mais également de las americas. Par contre en ce qui concerne la piscine nous n'y sommes pas allés car des 7h 30 le matin, les clients vont installer leur serviettes et le personnel de l'hôtel ne s'y oppose donc il y a beaucoup d'abus. Ce qui m'a le plus déplu c'est le non respect des touristes envers cette belle îles et leurs habitants. La ville remplies de détritus au petit matin. Cela est triste. La plupart de la jeunesse n'est malheureusement pas concerné par l'écologie lorsqu'il ne sont pas dans leur pays respectifs. Cette ville est très touristique...

Hotel was good. Clean room daily and no problem getting sunbeds around the pool. Food was good with lots of choice in the restaurant. Really helpful staff on reception. No noise at all at night. Only reason I would not return is the close proximity to Veronicas and the rubbish and dodgy people that are in that area. I could not fault the hotel though and we enjoyed our stay.

Our arrival was positive with a clean reception and efficient staff. However, we had to explicitly ask for our promotional room credit, which had also been "conveniently" omitted from my parents' room when they checked in the day before. Once challenged, it was added, but it felt odd. The rooms were spacious but tired, and due to the staggered design, the "sea view" was only visible from one corner of the balcony, with the other facing the mountain. The pool area is very clean, though sunbed reserving is an annoying daily issue despite rules against it. The main pool is a uniform 6 feet deep, so take care with kids. While the salad bar and live-cooking stations were great, the hot buffet was disappointing, oily, and heavily stewed, with theme nights completely missing the mark. Standard drinks were good, but cocktails aren't worth paying extra for. Be careful with premium spirits; we ordered a familiar premium gin using our credit, it tasted completely wrong, and my wife was violently sick an hour later. Staff work hard and a €5 tip goes a long way, but check-out was a letdown. We were abruptly told we owed money, only to find the bar had lumped all drinks onto one room and included charges from before we even checked in. Reception was blunt, refusing to help and telling us to sort it with the bar. Overall, track your bills closely.

Una pega sobre el personal del restaurante, la camarera se apresuraba demasiado en retirar la comida del buffet cuando todavía había personas almorzando. De hecho, nos retiró parte del postre cuando estábamos todavía eligiendo.

Great value, amazing staff, and fun entertainment! ​For the price, this hotel is a great option. Our rooms were perfectly clean, and the pool bar is excellent for a day in the sun with the kids. A huge special thanks to reception for moving us to a beautiful, quiet garden room after our first night to get away from the outside noise. We also loved the entertainment on a few of the nights; the magician was fantastic and kept us in the hotel after dinner. Would definitely stay again!

Hôtel bien situé pour les visites et pour les parcs d’attractions, proche des commerces restaurants et boutiques. Pour les fêtards boîte de nuit à disposition en bas de l’hôtel (pas terrible pour les touristes qui veulent dormir en paix) pensez à demander une chambre au calme autrement hôtel nickel.

Tout très bien sauf le personnel de la reception peu aimable et n'aide pas en cas de besoin!

Lovely stay at Alexande Gala. Room was spacious and clean. Plenty of space at the pool, although sadly some people would claim their spots early and not appear until the afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful, had an issue with being overcharged on checkout but this was later resolved. Food was OK, a good range but not always to my taste or very warm. Spa was lovely on an overcast day. Central location, just off the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants very nearby. Great spot to go for a walk to Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos. Only advice is to keep an eye on what you order, all purchases are added to your room and you pay at the end, you could easily overspend if you aren't careful.

Hotellet havde en rigtig god beliggenhed, men rengøringen af værelset var mangelfuld. Der blev kun skiftet håndklæder, mens badeværelset ikke blev gjort ordentligt rent. Derudover fungerede Wi-Fi ikke.

Great location. Very clean room. Staff very friendly. Food very beige and more 2/3* - as if the chef and his team have lost their enjoyment in cooking

La nourriture est médiocre. Le bruit est omniprésent dans tout l’hôtel. Impossible de dormir le soir entre les boîtes de nuit, les bars à l’extérieur et la musique, trop forte du mini disco et du spectacle, du soir, des odeurs d’œuf, pourris jusqu’à la réception du aux égouts, bref à éviter.

Wurde versucht ein minderwertiges abgewohntes Zimmer zu geben. Angeblich kein besseres Standartzimmer frei. Erst nach Weigerung einen Aufpreis für Club Alexandre zu zahlen, war dann doch ein besseres Zimmer frei. Auch dieses Zimmer hatte kleinere Mängel (kaputte Abfalleimer, Ameisen, etwas laut). Der russische Rezeptioniist verkauft einen für dumm und ist arogant. Hat wohl selbst auch wenig Entscheidungsbefugnis. Boden im Speisesaal ist unterirdisch, runtergefallenes wird während der Schicht nicht entfernt. Tische putzen sie mit immer demselben Lappen un Sprühflasche. Man darf nichts sagen, sonst wird man bei der Bedienung am Tisch und Buffet ignoriert.

Excellent staff - intermittent WiFi and one of the lifts broken all week

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, due to an issue with the booking, I did not receive the half-board option. I suspect this may have been related to Hotels.com rather than the hotel itself. The hotel amenities were good and the food was really enjoyable. We requested a quiet room and the hotel accommodated this, although the area can be quite busy at night so some noise was unavoidable. The location was very convenient, though walking around the area in the evenings sometimes felt a bit uncomfortable. There was also a locker in the room available for an extra fee. I had an issue with my luggage lock and the hotel staff helped resolve it, which I really appreciated. The evening shows were also a nice touch and added to the overall experience. Overall it is a comfortable hotel in a convenient location.
