Enjoyed our stay, excellent staff, pool, gym, beach, walking and biking. Didn’t like that we were not allowed to bring our own drinks of all kinds and food to the beach and pool. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the food out of there kitchen was better. But I would definitely would go back

My friends stayed in a suite on the first floor with an amazing natural view of the lake, 2 bathrooms, and a full kitchen. Perfect for hosting a small group. I stayed on the second floor, unfortunately right beside the ice machine, elevator, staircase, and overlooking the front entrance. If you were hoping to sleep in, then ask for a different room. The single room felt like a mini suite with a fridge, cook top and a full set of kitchen accessories to cook and eat. The bed was comfy. We didn’t make it to the pool but saw that it was well used as we sat on the patio for a late dinner. The waitress was amazing and seemed to be the only one serving on a Friday night. She took the time to help me find something on the menu that I could eat because of my dairy allergy. We didn’t partake in the breakfast buffet either and there is not a set breakfast menu, so we met our other friends at Gino’s, a small cafe in town, with great food and warm drinks for a smaller breakfast.

We had a great time at Walnut Beach Resort. We stayed in a Chardonnay Studio, with king bed, separate sitting area with TV, kitchen and 2 seater dining table as well as bathroom with huge tub. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was nice to be able to have breakfast in our suite. The pool area was great, lots of beach chairs and there is a hotel private beach with dock. The hotel has no carpet which feels cleaner, but at times you can hear heavy-footed people above. Also the rooms backing onto the road can have some street noise, not a problem if the windows are closed and it is not a busy road. We found the A/C system efficient but rather noisy. Overall, we liked this location and hotel and will return again and pay more for a room facing the side or pool. June is a great time for fresh cherries!

They should require families with young children to book main floor suites as many families on upper floors have no consideration for other people beneath them. They were stomping on the floor from like 6 pm till late into the night and then again at. 6 in the morning. It was like they were racing back and forth with shoes on as it was loud. We will request upper floors next time.

Liked the outdoor pool and the private access to the beach.

Our room was lovely Pool and patio were excellent. Only minor comment is that we wanted to sit on the patio and enjoy the fire table the first night but both fire tables had empty propane tanks. Also our first two days and nights out of three there was only one staff member for the restaurant and pool service. The staff person on both days seemed run off their feet but the service was still excellent. Enjoyed our stay very much

Great stay with my kids. Everyone loved the pool and hot tubs. The beach was perfect. Close to everything. Highly recommend.
