A very clean room and an extremely convenient place as it is near to the city and the University of Melbourne.

I like the hotel's location as it's not located on a crowded street, good for sleep. Room and bathroom are clean, staff is nice and helpful.

Excellent value because the location is relatively quieter than Ibis Budget near Flinders Street Station. Staff was helpful. Room and bathroom were excellent.

Relatively quieter area good for my rest. Not so far from my fave supermarket Aldi. Room, bathroom, staff are superb.

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was small but conveniently bigger than Ibis Budget room (I understand this Ibis at Swanston is not Ibis Budget). Location is good and relatively quieter than the Ibis Budget near Flinders street train station. Bathroom is clean without any problem. Aircon is working well but temperature cannot be really adjusted.

Very small room and breakfast is not buffet standard as hotel. We stay 3 night in winter but they do not turn on the heater for the first night.

Good location and very clean hotel

We’ve great 4 night stayed in this hotel: 1. Arrived at 9.30 am and it’s still too early for checking-in. They offer early check-in with additional AUD$25 but we preferred strolling around nearby attractions. The front-liner was very helpful, speedy and friendly in handling guests. 2. We left our big luggages for 3 nights as we flew to Sydney and back again to Ibis Swanston for staying one night. It helped as a lot as we took budget air with certain weights luggage allowed. 3. The location is perfect, close to Melbourne central, eating places, Victoria Market etc and the nearest tram station (Queensberry St.) is just 5 min walk. 4. Although the size of my room (deluxe) is not so ample, but it is nice with white , fresh & clean bed sheet , they changed towels & add amenities everyday. Highly recommended and I’ll be back to Ibis Swanston if I travel again to Melb.

It was a clean new rooms with comfortable bedding and good location. The daily cleaning service was good and bathrooms and hot water was comfortable. Only complaint would be that there was no complementary water served in the rooms. Other than that found this to be a very good accommodation.

The room is very clean & tidy. The price is too good with the quality provided. I would recommend it to others.

Stayed in this hotel because of the close proximity to the University of Melbourne. The rooms were pretty great for budget hotel, but beware of rooms close to the exhaust fan of the restaurant downstairs. Your room will smell like kitchen. But, I like the hotel setup, the front desk is always nice, and they have great coin laundry. Coffee shop is also pretty neat and the location is great. A short walk to queen victoria market, chinatown, rmit, and University of Melbourne. Great small, budget hotel.
