I stayed at The Flag during the summer and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is clean, my room was spacious, and the amenities were quite complete for a city hotel. There’s no AC, only a fan to help with the summer heat, but I actually appreciated this as a more environmentally friendly approach. What made the stay truly memorable, however, was the kindness and patience of the staff, especially Maria. She helped me bravely remove a spider that somehow ended up in my room (possibly hitchhiked from my clothes after walking outside!). She spoke to me kindly and patiently, even though my English wasn’t very good, and she didn’t lose her calm even after I accidentally spilled Coca-Cola on the floor. … a lot happened during my stay, but Maria handled it all with grace and kindness. Thank you, Maria! Another staff member, a cool guy, also kindly helped refill my water bottle. I forgot to ask his name, but I hope you meet him when you visit. When you do, say hi to him :)

Value for money, friendly staff (Clara), nice pantry and kitchenette, free flow coffee and tea, 4 minutes away from tram and nearby stores, less than 20 minutes from airport. It will be more sleeping comfort with a better pillow.

That's very nice hotel. close to the tram station. we do early check in and can keep our luggage at the hotel after check out. Totally recommended

The room was unexpectedly clean and large for a budget hotel. Amenities are fine. Definitely will book again
