Fruit bowls were usually empty on all five days I stayed. There was an odd smell from the food in general. Unsure why, perhaps cooking oil?

Staff very good. Had to wait for breakfast. Was asked. Do we want any breakfast after we had ordered breakfast 15 minus earlier. Was still waiting for same order.. Good night sleep. Could do with firmer bed as it ws bit soft. Room Could do with coat of paint. Good food

Room 8 avoid dirty carpet,light fitting coming away from the ceiling ,curtains off the rail, no sink plug and no loo roll a very unkept room would definitely not stay there again but no fault with the breakfast

Room and hotel very tired. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of free snacks in room.

I was able to check in after midnight which was really appreciated. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent

Overall we had a good stay. However, there was mold in two corners of the room which need attention

Room was clean but very cold. Shower and tap both leaked. Shower temperature was uncontrollable and shower head was like a tap. Glad we weren't paying full price for this stay. Room only. Breakfast was extra.

The hotel was clean and I had a very good nights sleep. There was plenty of parking and evening meal was good. Wi Fi was not very good and 8 had no mobile signal throughout my stay.

The paint decoration in the rooms is rather dark, but the place is good. Bed pillows and duvet are great, good room and spacious shower. Breakfast was also really good. Very relaxing environment, would definitely stop again if in the area.

Incredible service .... I arrive very late after midnight due to flight delay ... and people stay just for me ! In the morning an very nice breakfast ... with many choice.

Nice place for a family event, areas could do with a lick of paint but overall I liked it and were well looked after 👍

Liz and her team run a very friendly, comfortable, hotel and bar. The food is the best in Prestbury and the Cocktails are superb. We slept incredibly well and left feeling very chilled. We stayed for a visit to Jodrell Bank but may well just come back to chill

Generally it was good but the rooms were much too dark. I quite like dark decor but the lighting didn’t compensate for this when I needed it. The bathroom was the same and the lighting was so dysfunctional that I couldn’t use it to put my makeup on. You need some functionality in the bathroom but unfortunately there was none

Overnight stay, friendly welcome and an enjoyable evening meal. Breakfast was hit and miss, with various options unavailable. The room was very small, very hot and in need of decoration.

Room very dark due to the decorating and inadequate lighting. Poor WIFI too. Comfy bed and great shower though.

Tired room, with marks in wall, window poor with damage, plaster falling off by door, horrible ceiling. Slept ok though and Breakfast was good!

I had a very good meal in the restaurant but the room was dark and depressing. This was partly the decor, with all the walls and ceiling painted a very dark blue/black, but there were also signs of damp, with peeling plaster. The picture is the view from the window, which is supposed to be a view of the river.
