Clean room, delicious breakfast and very comfortable hotel. Good to stay.

The service is pretty average, the bathroom looks dirty and has low water pressure. The door key was not working in one occasion and I needed to go down to see the reception.

Cukup nyaman, fasilitas lumayan. makan paginya enak, dekat bandara.

The rooms can be compared to a 5 star hotel.

Hotel Essencia was great! The room was huge and the bathroom was very clean. The window view was not the best (see photos) but, I guess, that’s what you get when you avail a discount. Most of the staff was very accommodating and room service was fast. The food was delicious, especially their sisig and breakfast. The free breakfast buffet was great! There were a lot of dishes to choose from. As for cleanliness, the room was overall clean, there was no weird smell when entering the room but I did find a dead cockroach underneath one of the bed side tables. My mother and sister also saw a leak on the divider that divides the shower and toilet, maybe they could fix that but these are all very small concerns for us and did not affect our stay in the hotel. To sum it up, we had an amazing stay in the hotel! I will definitely recommend to my family and friends whenever they’re in Dumaguete.

Nice location if going on tourist spots

It was great, the hotel itself is quite amazing. Although there is a little confusion there because I thought I made it clear that we would be having a one king size bed but the one given was a twin bed, but it's okay we didn't make a fuss about it. Over all, it was a great experience staying in your hotel. It made me love dumaguete more.

Facilities could have been maintained. Towels are old whenever there is an event or function we could not order food service we stayed during Christmas holiday and food menu is very limited Breakfast very little option for pescatarian

Cleanliness - Check! Location - Super check! Near to all tourist spots, you can roam around the area by walking. Food - Check! Breakfast buffet!

Good location. We liked the food at the cafe.

Pros - Comfy bed, room service is daily + towels are changed daily, location is great, 5-10 mins walk from attractions, drinking water is always available. cons - hot shower is not working. No free coffee or tea.

This is what an accommodation should be. All the amenities are as advertised. I'll stay there again.

AC is not good hope they will replace them with new AC
