Very slow service . Room didn't have a nice lighting, Bathroom fan was too noisy and could not turn off unless you turn off the light . Only location was nice .

Room are in good size and clean. Patio window needs upgrade to save energy. It’s cold and windy overnight and the heat had to work very hard, still can’t warm up the room to a comfortable level .

The place is tired, but it is in the process of being refurbished so kudos to the owners for that. The rooms are clean, but dated, and things like fixtures need replacing (all of which I believe is planned). The real issue for us was the food. It was a Sunday evening, and our meal was very ordinary (a beef stir fry). The meat was dry and the whole dish had no flavour. It was certainly not cooked fresh (frozen and microwaved perhaps, due to lack of staff on a Sunday night?). The wait staff were lovely, and tried to make amends with a free desert. Unfortunately that was also terrible! (profiteroles: very soggy). I know it's hard for businesses to keep up the quality in winter when traffic is down, but I resent paying full price for a very bad meal. On the plus side, the location is wonderful if you have a sea view room, and enjoy watching the birdlife.

Everything was good except the heating. The heat pump was as high as would go and room was still cold, my husband is an electrician so we know it was on the right settings, just dont think it was working properly, had to resort to the other radiant heater from the wardrobe as well. By this time reception had closed.

All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was lovely with a wonderful view overlooking the water. The resort was clean with a nice dining area and a huge deck to sit and enjoy a drink or two. Very nice place to stay.
