An old building that has been brought up to modern standards. Still some bathrooms to go however everything is fine. Great view ( pay the additional to get a lake view) and fabulous staff

Beautiful spot. Only negative was it was noisy within the hotel. Very spacious but you could hear all footsteps. We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very welcoming.

The decor in the room was a little outdated but it was a reaaly good size with a balcony overlooking the water. The bed was very comfortable and there was a desk with a chair as well as 2 other chairs and small table. The bathroom was dated but a good size except the shower was tiny. However everything worked and it was clean. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was wrll priced and good variety with several gluten free options.

The bathrooms need updating and the showers are tiny!
The bar closes about 9pm and the entire outdoor area, including the designated smoking area, is then locked. The other doors to the accommodation wing are also locked about 8pm, so then the only entry/exit is through the main door which is a long way from some of the rooms. Breakfast is good but is cooked options only - no self-serve cereals, juice, fruit, toast, tea, coffee, etc (though drinks can be purchased from the bar).
