This property was amazing. The decor and staff were next level. We were upgraded to an enormous room with a big free standing bath. The Nespresso coffee was a nice touch too. Highly recommend!

Left our bags and came back.
Bags not taken to our room as advised.
Only 2 towels for 3 guests.

This is a very stylish hotel with art deco influences befitting the building it is housed within. There was a lot of brown decor. I would have liked a feature wall in blue or something more to lighten the room but that is me. Nice breakfast. The Chef knows how to do perfect poached eggs. The bed was very comfortable. The shower waterfall was great and the bath was good too. The body wash smelt divine. I recommend this hotel if visiting the State Theatre or would like a night life ambience when in the city.

I have stayed here a few times. It is a nice place. The rooms are a little dark which is great for the ambience but not so great when trying to get ready in the morning. Overall good location, good staff, no issues at all. I would recommend.

Magnificent large rooms... Best bed and pillows we have ever experienced... The food and the coffee is beautiful 😍 best location... Only issue which is the same with all Sydney CBD hotels is parking 😂🙃

Ok overall, not special, room was noisy and banged around. Return needed. Bed comfortable and great bathroom amenities. Entry a little challenging to find if arriving later in the evening and door people aren’t around.

Pros: nice location within reasonable walking distance to high end shopping and tourist attractions, fun elevators, nice dark room with comfortable bed, staff was nice
Cons: room was not the cleanest, lousy gym, terrible bathroom layout— no towel bars & shower got the entire bathroom floor wet, hair dryer did not get hot so my hair wouldn’t dry all the way

Our 2nd time at this hotel was not as enjoyable as our 1st. When we stayed here a couple of years ago we were captivated by its quirky ambience but on our return the reality of the triumph of style over substance was glaringly obvious. I'm willing to admit that my negative observations are most likely age related. I'm sure it will have huge appeal for a younger demographic but at this price point, in my advanced years, I would expect more than was on offer. Service was faultless, always helpful and offered with a smile, the restaurants and bars were 1st class so if you're young, have deep pockets and you're not annoyed by techno music in the elevator and public places I'm sure you'll have a wonderful mid city stay.

Place was just to dark. If the staff use torches in the middle of the day in the corridor to see what is on their trolley then it is just too dark. The colour scheme is brown everywhere, no view outside the windows than another wall and it becomes quite a depressive place. We enjoyed other QT hotels but not this one. Touches in the room are nice but overall it was not a good experience.
