Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was very nice and bed was very comfortable.

Nice hotel conveniently located for the main station. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Breakfast is great and the best thing about the hotel. One thing I hated was they charge for leaving luggage. Only Eur4 but still ridiculous. I stay in a lot of hotels and this is the first time any have charged for this service.

Hotel was great for a quick stop in Salzburg before catching the train. Staff friendly, clean hotel and comfy room. Quite busy in the morning and wasn’t able to get anywhere to sit for breakfast at 9am which isn’t particularly late. Also wasn’t able to store luggage in the hotel after checkout as they only have a small store room which filled up quickly so had to pay to store in the train station instead. Good location for Mirabell and wandering around the town

Hotel was very expensive for what you got. Rooms were not cleaned and you weren’t given fresh towels unless asked. Lighting in room was poor, could hear person in next room in shower & coughing. View was into other flats so had to keep curtains closed at all times. Had to pay extra to check in early, and pay to leave luggage if had they had space, which they didn’t. If no free bottles didn’t get any water. Builders started demolition work nearby at 8am so early morning wake up everyday. Stayed in far better hotels for a lot less. Only good thing was right next to train & bus station. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Hotel Cocoon in Salzburg, nachdem ich bereits mehrfach und sehr zufrieden in München Cocoon übernachtet habe. Die Lage ist wirklich ideal – nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, mit hervorragenden Verbindungen in die Stadt und vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Obwohl die Umgebung lebhaft ist, konnte ich überraschend gut schlafen. Ein ungewöhnliches Detail war der schiefe Spiegelbogen über meinem Bett, der mich etwas beunruhigt hat, da er direkt über meinem Kopf hing. Die Nachtrezeptionistin war zunächst zögerlich bei meiner Bitte um einen Zimmerwechsel, erfüllte diesen Wunsch dann aber trotzig. Im neuen Zimmer funktionierten allerdings einige Lichter nicht. Ganz anders erlebte ich das Team an der Rezeption beim Ein- und Auschecken sowie die Küche – durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da ich vegan lebe, habe ich das Frühstück nicht gebucht, deswegen kann ich nicht bewerten. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir das natürliche Ambiente mit singenden Vögeln in den Fluren und den Aufzügen sowie die liebevolle Dekoration mit Pflanzen und die kostenlosen Getränke wie Wasser und Äpfel – ein schönes, erfrischendes Detail. Ein tolles Extra ist die Gästekarte, die kostenfreie Nutzung des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs ermöglicht – das macht Ausflüge und Stadterkundungen besonders angenehm. I was placed in a Disabled room which smelled. I went downstairs and said I wished to have the Single Room I had booked. The Manager on the desk said, "Well it is a single room." No - it was a Disabled room. I do not understand why hotels treat older, single woman as second class guests. We are the ones that have money, no mortgages AND, if we are made to feel welcome, we spend a lot more in-house (meals, room service etc). The moment Reception treats me badly is the moment I decide to NOT spend another cent IN the Hotel. Which is what I did. I went out for dinner even though your restaurant looked nice.

Hotel is across from train station, supermarket in mall 5 minutes away, also quite a few fast food places across the road. Wonderful shower and a good sized room. Would definitely book again.

Very pleased with this hotel with great location just next to Salzburg main station and walking distance to everything local in town. The hotel is in great condition. I don't recall seeing a single dent! Room was spotless. Breakfast is of type full-breakfast buffet to decent quality and included in your stay, which makes it a plus. The hotel offers an early checking opportunity, subject to availability and a fee of EUR20 which i think was great as it gave me acceas to my room as early as 11am. The only thing I would like to have had done differently was to have a proper double duvet. A single duvet for a double bed is a bit slim. Had I realised this before going to bed I would have asked for a bigger. But this is a small detail and the overall stay is 5/5 stars and in would stay here again.

Shower was nice, room was okay~ got tja family room and could barely walk between the two beds. Not in the best area but right next to the train station which is very convenient.

The Cocoon hotels are now in my go-to list. It was right next to the train station, but still quiet. The front desk was very friendly and the rooms are really nice. They even had free apples!

The room was fabulous on the 7th floor. Clean and very comfortable.

The breakfast menu was, good 👍 This property is a 5 minute walk from central bus & train station- Salzburg HBF.
