Banff Park Lodge

The room did not have a smarr tv - nothing we could watch . Paying $800 for 2 days thats should be basic. Both the washroom doors wont close. The pillows were old and lacked support. Waste totally

This was our third consecutive booking with this hotel. And honestly had the booking been refundable, we would of gone back to its sister property Peaks Hotel and Suites where the service is exceptional. With this particular booking there was a lot of confusion, wasting time, unprofessional service from front desk staff as well as the female supervisor on duty. There were also dealing with this some problems with the executive room such water being cold, wifi not working and shower temperature constantly skipping between two extremes of hot and cold. The tub is very high, so it is a bit hard to get in and out of it. There was no light in the bathtub, and the fixtures in the bathtub very old and dirty. The shower does not work properly. Also for that type of a room, it is strange that no better shower amenities ate not given. No bee kind line of products, but the same nourishment plastic bottles as in the lower grade rooms. However the room is spacious with a living room and a nice couch and a very low bench, and a bid comfortable king size bed with nice firm pillows. There are two separate balconies for each of the rooms. It was very disappointing that our luggage was moved into our room early without any notice from the staff (as we were changing rooms) and we asked specifically to be notified when the room becomes ready as we were waiting and had to post pone our plans. The supervisor Clara did not acknowledge my vip status and I had to ask for my perk of welcome drink .

Great location, walkable to downtown Banff where shops, dining, and transit hubs are located. Pool was very nice, but quiet hours (9-11pm) were not enforced as a staff came in and did not intervene with the loud conference group taking up the whole hot tub for over 30 mins. Staff were very friendly. I loved that they could be reached via text or WhatsApp’s if we needed anything. I would stay here again for sure!

Overall great stay at Banff park lodge! It’s a great central location in the town and allowed us to walk within 10 minutes to great shopping and restaurants! Nice rooms, great bed, good indoor parking. Ev charging is great but suggest adding more chargers as a few instances there were more evs than chargers. Some noise in the hall early morning but it was just some kids and not hotels fault. There was renovations happening but you wouldn’t even notice if they didn’t tell you it was happening. Over all a great location, great room for the price, staff was always prompt if you had a question or request just a quick what’s app message and it was replied to fast! Good job Banff park lodge!

Friendly and efficient staff. Quiet room with mountain view

The rooms are really nice, looks like it was renovated recently. It was very comfortable for our stay! The location was perfect if you like to be near the main road with all the shops, short walking distance to Starbucks :)
