Basecamp Suites Canmore

Basecamp suites was the perfect accommodation for our family . The central Canmore location was walking distance to anything you could need , it was clean, modern and had great amenities ! We can’t wait to stay here again

The room was clean. Parking was so convenient. Loved the location as we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Loved the body products in the bathrooms. Communication was excellent. This will be out go to place . We will definately be back.

Great place for a short stay in Canmore. The rooms are on a smaller side and there is not much space for storage in a one bedroom apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. Easy access to the Main Street and all that it offers. My room was on the second floor - it is definitely not sound proofed I could hear my upstairs and next door neighbours quite a bit. Gratefully guests honoured quiet hours after 10 pm. I have stayed at the Basecamp Resort last year but prefer this location for its proximity to the Main Street and much less street noise.

First of all found the location very difficult to find. The main office had no signs and is shared in a small coffee shop, took a good amount of time to actually find it so we could check in because for some reason it wasn’t working online. Parking was also not easy to get to. Walked into the room and it absolutely reeked. Had to open the windows and air it out while we went for food. Came back to chill for the night and our blankets had disgusting stains on them, walls had smears of god knows what, finger prints all over the microwave/oven (which we did not use), TV remote was even greasy. I could go on for hours with a list of the uncleanly concerns. Brought this up with the staff in which they said the manager will reach out - took almost a week and that was due to me constantly texting and calling to follow up and finally reached the manager directly. Got a very small discount on the room to compensate which in my opinion is not satisfactory considering the state of the room. I am not one to complain or make poor reviews but this was just disgusting.

I like location but i booked suite for 6 adults and 4 kids however beds were not enough for 10 people.

Beautiful condo! Everything there that we needed, and supper comfortable beds! The view of the mountain from the sofa and two bedrooms was an absolute bonus! Right in the heart of Canmore! Staff were very responsive and kind. Would stay there again!

Très propre, très bien entretenu et super emplacement à côté des restaurants et boutiques. Et le spa est un wow tout en haut avec la vue imprenable sur les montagnes

Nice clean suite right in the heart of Canmore, walking distance to everything.

Property is located way behind the expected route from downtown. Walking distance is longer for those who don’t have a ride. They charged me $250 just for deposit but my 1 night stay was only $130. Coffee strainer was uncleaned.. Additionally, they don’t pickup phone when we contact the front desk , check in experience was terrible. Overall good property but sorry, it is not for people like me who don’t usually drive and prefer solo trip.

Our family absolutely loved our stay! Such a convenient location and walking distance to downtown. The suite we were in was amazing and can accommodate a big group! The only small complaint (not that the building could do anything about it) was that being on the main floor we could hear all foot steps of the people staying above us. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was great. Communication with the propery staff was great. Other than the very heavy footed people above us that didnt seem to sleep and the inconsiderate people who seemed like they smoked a pound of weed in the parking area that made its way up to the room. It was great. Hot tub was good rooms were clean and perfect for a couple wanting to get away. Parking lot was alittle tight for a 1/2 ton.

We enjoyed the location downtown and the newness of the property. The bed was quite comfortable and our kiddo found the hide-a-bed “more comfortable than most”. There wasn’t bedding for the hide-a-bed and the bedroom door didn’t latch because the latch plate was put on upside down. Fortunately, we helped ourselves to bedding - the linen room was open - and kept the bedroom door shut with the broom provided and a shoe! I’m sure we’re not the first ones to notice the latch problem, which is disappointing when you want some privacy between the bedroom and living area/children’s sleeping space.
