OK place to stay when you have limited budget

Disgusting. Dirty. Fake advertising. Weird people.

Good place to have a roof over your head.

Location was perfect but room was very small and outdated. If going in the summer be aware that there is no AC and it get incredibly hot. Shower smelled like urine, there was blood on bathroom door, and cigarette burn marks on bedding. If staying for one night it definitely isn’t a bad option but I would recommend staying for a longer period of time

PLEASE READ!! This place was absolutely disgusting and definitely should be shut down! Me and my best friend booked it for a few nights since we are on a budget and after we arrived we rather sleep in the metro! STAINS AND BEDBUGS! Shower is in the hallway too! it’s the picture with the red and white curtain , Not even a bathroom just a shower in a closet!, after we left and called expida they REFUSED to give us a refund and a new stay , btw we were there for 30 min before we left the place , i have photo evidence btw , walls and floors are sticky… the door didn’t even lock properly! there was also a sink in our bedroom, no toilet or anything just a sink, they had a Febreze plug to cover up the discusting spell, 600$ and no refund, this shows to get a nice hotel and please read the google reviews !! Our safety was at risk and they didn’t care! we are minors btw for oshega weekend

Worst stay of my life. Such an unsafe environment, my sister and I (both young females) ran for our lives out of the place because we felt sooooo unsafe staying even one night of our two nights we booked. Luckily guardian angels were watching over us. Staff was zerooooo help. Felt like we were being locked in a cage with the cage in front of the front doors (the only exit). Room was sooo filthy, 30 degrees in the room, no ac, no air flow even tho we had the windows open the whole time. Smelt like dirty cigarettes the whole time. Cell service got spotty at midnight when it was fine throughout the day which was soooo sus. Would not recommend this place at all. Hallelujah we made it out of there. Waste of money. From now on I will always read the reviews of places to stay at such a big mistake.

I walked in and immediately out. Dirty and cramped, and they lied about parking. It was limited street parking.

Very disappointing experience. The room was not clean, the service was unprofessional, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping. The facilities were poorly maintained, and the overall stay was far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again. ** this is no refundable hotel . So make sure you choose your hard money wisely to spend. I would suggest to sleep on street instead of this hotel .

One of the worst hotel I have ever come across in my entire life. No air-condition, no washroom or shower inside the room. It is a scary place. We paid $157 but we left 20 minutes after check-in. It is shocking this hotel is booked through expedia.

Do not expect much from this hotel. Super expensive for what it is: Dated, weird smell, questionable maintenance and cleanliness. Better pay a little more for a cleaner room to stay. And there are no free parking as advertised, just street parking which are already taken.

Propreté inadéquate — expérience insatisfaisante Lors de mon séjour, j’ai constaté plusieurs problèmes sérieux de propreté : draps tachés poussière accumulée dans la chambre salle de bain mal entretenue odeur persistante dès l’entrée L’état de la chambre ne correspondait pas aux standards minimaux d’hébergement. Le personnel était courtois, mais la propreté doit être une priorité absolue. Je ne reviendrai pas et je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Séjour très décevant dans la Room 206. À mon arrivée, la chambre était extrêmement sale : poussière partout, odeur désagréable, draps tachés et salle de bain clairement mal nettoyée. L’état de la Room 206 donnait l’impression qu’elle n’avait pas été entretenue depuis longtemps. Pour un établissement affiché sur Expedia, je m’attendais à un minimum de propreté, mais ce n’était absolument pas le cas. Le montant100 $ demandé à l’arrivée est totalement injustifié pour une chambre dans cet état. Je ne recommande pas Arena Palace Montréal.

The staffs were nice. The room was pretty useable not the best but for the price was okay. Was upgraded to better room for free.

Well located. Excellent staff. The place needs a face lift and deep cleaning but is so it wouldn't be a bargain price.

If you’re looking for a cheap place while visiting Montreal, just to crash the night. Otherwise quite dirty. Nice staff though.

This place has to be shoot down immediately. Is disgusting no AC, so sleeping w the windows open is the only option plus the noise outside at night. You need to be in good shape to get to the 3er floor. Be prepared to escalate a wall. 😆, and when leaving the premises remember to hold the entry door otherwise you will be pushed out by that door and you might fall other 5 steps to get to the ground 😉. No parking, staff is not very welcome, some of them rude. But the location is amazing, very very downtown 👌.
