The Arts Hotel

Great place to stay as a minimalist!

The hotel is in a great location downtown. The room was basic, but very clean. There isn't a tv or fridge, but ice is available on the second floor. We went to Trailside on the ground level to watch a couple of great bands perform. The hotel doesn't have parking, but we found street parking a block away, and it's free on weekends. All in all, a great bang for our buck.

Loved the live music as well the Dali Cafe that is connected to the hotel. Definitely will return if I come back to PEI

I love that it had built in trail side entertainment excellent food at the restaurant and a really nice size lounge.... the rooms are quite small with a glass bathroom, I did like the choice between the overhead shower vs the regular showerhead, I think the room should come with a fridge stock not as an additional, and the room desk was also quite small too but i guess it fits the room. The lounge made up for the lack of room space so i can set up and get work done. Staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful.

Overall a great experience. The room was large and cozy. The only minor thing is some dusting could be completed in the rooms.

It was a bit complicated to make the reservation directly with the hotel but much simpler and cheaper through Expedia. The bedding was dirty but once advised the staff changed it right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful except the first point of contact made directly, she was pushing the more expensive room to the point that she told me the rate I had was no longer available but I found it and rebooked via Expedia at a lower rate that she offered me. The bathroom was very clean. The hotel is in the middle of downtown so close to everything and we loved that. We were there on the weekend, Saturday was noisy, because we were in the entertainment quarters but we were aware of that already. Sunday was very quiet. They have a lounge that’s very comfortable and has a TV . Rooms are very small made to sleep only. That didn’t bother us at all because we were touring PEI all our stay. All in all it’s a good hotel to spend couple of days and do recommend just be aware of the services and location not to be surprised once in site.

A great hotel!

Wow, this was surprisingly wonderful! The price is unbeatable for the value. The staff were amazing, the room was comfortable and super clean. Loved the decor. It’s a “minimalist” stay ~ no TV, no phone, no closet, no kitchenette appliances, etc. Didn’t miss any of the “things”! It’s within walking distance to all downtown Charlottetown attractions. The hotel has a restaurant/cafe connected to the lobby, which was also fabulous ~ Good food and service personnel. I would stay here again anytime!

Nothing wrong with the place I didn’t realize what kind of place it was and I was not expecting that ! Not for me but may work well for others understand the type of place it is before you book online

Room was clean; however, if you are staying on the weekend be mindful that is right in the middle of downtown surrounded by bars and apartments where sound travels.
