The staffs are helpful and most of them could speak English. Excellent breakfast, there is a one Michelin-starred restaurant in the hotel. It is also located in a very prime area, next to Oriental Plaza and Wangfujing Street.

Beautiful hotel in a central location, just a short distance from the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the main shopping district. The hotel has its own direct entrance to the shopping mall, making everything incredibly convenient. The pool and amenities are absolutely top-notch and truly next level. The restaurant on the second floor was excellent, offering buffet-style lunches and dinners with an endless variety of delicious food. Beyond the outstanding facilities, the staff made the experience even better — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay.

Hotel is in great location, but is getting dated. Definitely not worth the price asked for the room. Breakfast was ok, but it’s more for Asian customers, if you expect something like in NY - expect a massive disappointment. Customer service was poor - definitely not what you expect from Hyatt. Biggest letdown was how wrong they got everything for my wife’s birthday. Instead of birthday dinner we got a date night package, and when we pointed them at the mistakes nothing was fixed. It’s 2 weeks now that I’m waiting for any response from Hyatt, and hope on receiving any feedback is fading. Overall, they only have the Hyatt name - and nothing else. No service, no customer care. No 5 star standards. Only the shiny outside. Major disappointment. Stay away

We did encounter some issues with the room condition on the day we checked in, which was a bit stressful given our tight schedule during a short stay in Beijing. However, what really stood out was how the hotel handled the situation. The staff went above and beyond to make things right and ensure the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, we would like to thank Eva at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with such care and efficiency. Her attentiveness and warmth made a lasting impression on us. Honestly, nearly every staff member we interacted with reflected that same level of hospitality, and we are very grateful. The location of the hotel is another major highlight. It is extremely convenient—situated above an underground shopping mall with direct access to two metro lines, and within walking distance to major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are also countless dining options nearby, along with easy access to shopping areas. The hotel itself is well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities, which were perfect for families. Breakfast was also a standout—an impressive selection with excellent quality that made for a great start to each day. Despite the initial hiccup, the exceptional service truly made all the difference.
