Grand Hyatt Beijing

Scott, Cecilia, Devin, George and Simon were all helpful during our week long stay. They helped with transportation, attraction tickets and suggestions on places to eat and shop. Definitely made our stay great and we would definitely return. They made our stay a wonderful experience. Very pleasant and accommodating.

Hotel was well kept and the amenities were great. I also liked how it was located within walking distance of Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City.

Hotel is in great location, but is getting dated. Definitely not worth the price asked for the room. Breakfast was ok, but it’s more for Asian customers, if you expect something like in NY - expect a massive disappointment. Customer service was poor - definitely not what you expect from Hyatt. Biggest letdown was how wrong they got everything for my wife’s birthday. Instead of birthday dinner we got a date night package, and when we pointed them at the mistakes nothing was fixed. It’s 2 weeks now that I’m waiting for any response from Hyatt, and hope on receiving any feedback is fading. Overall, they only have the Hyatt name - and nothing else. No service, no customer care. No 5 star standards. Only the shiny outside. Major disappointment. Stay away

Helpful staff, clean hotel and facility. Lots of space you don't feel like everything is on top of you. This hotels looks just like the pictures.

Sumptuous breakfast buffet, courteous, helpful, responsive staff, immaculately, clean room, and excellent location. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in!

A wonderful hotel, with a beautiful lobby and reception area, absolute cleanliness, perfect service, and a good location; the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection and great variety. It is located inside a shopping mall that is quite large and comprehensive, suitable for any type of shopping or dining.

The location and amenities were excellent. The only disappointment was at check in , she told us that there was a discount on breakfast. HOwever, they did not honor it when we checked out.

This is a stunning hotel with excellent facilities and great staff. Its location is perfect for Beijing and it has everything one could possibly want, including a little robot to deliver room service, amazing!

Amazing Breakfast, super spacious room, very centrally located. Super pool (a bit cold). Super beds, nice and comfy.

Somehow the room we had was quite dated. We passed by some newly renovated rooms so I guess they are updating the rooms gradually. Breakfast was fantastic! Wide variety of Chinese and international dishes.

This is a high end hotel. So it has well trained workers, very good breakfast, good bedrooms, amenities, etc. it has a good pool, although a bit cold. It could be warmer. Aircon was not working perfectly too. But overall it was a very good experience. It's centrally located too.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly, ensuring that our needs were met. The room itself was spacious enough for my family of 4.

Our family recently stayed four nights at the Grand Hyatt Beijing, and overall it turned into a truly memorable experience. We did encounter some issues with the room condition on the day we checked in, which was a bit stressful given our tight schedule during a short stay in Beijing. However, what really stood out was how the hotel handled the situation. The staff went above and beyond to make things right and ensure the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, we would like to thank Eva at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with such care and efficiency. Her attentiveness and warmth made a lasting impression on us. Honestly, nearly every staff member we interacted with reflected that same level of hospitality, and we are very grateful. The location of the hotel is another major highlight. It is extremely convenient—situated above an underground shopping mall with direct access to two metro lines, and within walking distance to major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are also countless dining options nearby, along with easy access to shopping areas. The hotel itself is well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities, which were perfect for families. Breakfast was also a standout—an impressive selection with excellent quality that made for a great start to each day. Despite the initial hiccup, the exceptional service truly made all the difference.

Mentioned it was a birthday and they did a surprise decoration in the room and the counter staff wished us happy birthday. pleasant surprise for my partner!
