Phoenix Copenhagen

I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip to Copenhagen. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: the location is fantastic. Lovely area and central enough to walk to all the main attractions. Staff are welcoming and friendly and greeted me every time I walked in. Room size is good, would be just as comfortable for 2 people. Lots of space for storage and a well stocked mini-bar and in-room coffee facility. Great breakfast with a wide selection and always fresh and fully stocked. Cons: rooms feel quite tired and dated so could do with modernising. The area is generally pretty quiet but Fridays and Saturdays you can hear a lot of outside noise (mostly people coming back from a night out and cars driving up and down). I am quite sensitive to noise and a light sleeper so might not bother majority of people. There was an outdoor light outside my room that was very bright and couldn’t be fully blocked by the curtains. Again, might not bother most people. Shower bath is an odd size/shape and tricky to get in and out of. Overall, a lovely little hotel with a location that can’t be beat. I would definitely stay here again but would (personally) ask for a room higher up (I was on the first floor) or a courtyard room to help dampen the noise/light outside. Would recommend.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The condition of the vintage property is excellent. The restaurant and bar were very good. My room was very nice and had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever spelt in. Also, great location.

Hotel itself was well kept and clean, unfortunately all the outlets behind our bed didn’t work.

Hotel Phoenix, with its central location, is an excellent choice for tourists seeking a convenient base to explore Copenhagen's landmarks. Clean, quiet and uncrowded, it offers an elegant yet cozy interior—exactly what I was looking for a weekend in Denmark's capital.

Good stay, helpful staff, room was good as described, nice to have coffee machine in there. Cleaned every day to great standard. Only real complaint was the shower water pressure was a bit low but apart from that all perfect

Just an older, dated room and bathroom. Felt squished but the staff was nice and it was clean, beautiful hotel in a great area.

Excellent customer service upon arrival, lounge was brilliant and enjoyed using it daily to relax. Hotel and rooms where very clean. We where recommended to book here and it was well worth it. We will recommend others to book here to.

I enjoyed a one night stay at the Phoenix in Copenhagen and would have certainly stayed a few more days if I had the time; Clean rooms, a delicious breakfast buffet, and a wonderful staff. Thank you!
