Despite the queue at check in - the welcome was warm and helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We liked the view of the harbour from our room. The family were very happy to use the swimming pool.

Great hotel with even better facilities. Ideal if you're staying as a family. Only slight downside is that it's not close to any public transport links - the nearest bus stop, train stop and water bus stop are at least a 20 minute walk away depending on if you have kids and luggage. Other than that, a great place to stay with lovely rooms and facilities.

My stay at hotel Tivoli was good and positive….how is possible that spending good amount of money, the sleepers weren’t provided???? The management are saving pennies, but I used towels all over the place, which I believe is more expensive as an option for missing the slippers

The bar was fine, but the room very noisy, difficulty sleeping - also the spa was still out of order and the lounge opening times reduced. All in all it feels like you are cutting back on comfort

Room was clean enough though in need of maintenance. The lights hanging from the ceiling were only connected via their wires and moved around a lot. The aircon/heating system made grinding and rattling noises like a bearing was going. As for Expedia/Hotels.com “VIP”, despite me showing the booking, the hotel refused to honour the 20% voucher.

Staff at check in and throughout unfriendly and did not share basic information about hotel ie restaurant closing times which prevented us from eating after arriving starving, as we indicated to hotel staff.
