Lovely helpful manager. Nice family room but only a continental breakfast

The room was very dated , tired and in need of modernising , old non working heaters still attached to the wall , radiators that was not turned on ( were in December ) and all that was in room was a little plug in heater that was not even turned on .. when asked at reception for a second heater to go to room while we went outside to warm up was told the heater would go straight to the room and be turned on so the room was warm on our return .. 1 hour later and we get back into room to find no more heaters .. so went to reception and she said .. oh yeah I forgot I was cooking dinner .. on the morning of check out no sign of life at reception and the lights out and no instructions as to where to leave room card .. Look it’s Blackpool and I get the rooms and prices reflect what you get BUT I also think any paying customer should feel they have get value for money .. and I can’t say I felt that on this occasion .

Good spacious and clean room, value for money

This is a completely honest review. Yes, the property is old and outdated, and some attempts have been made to renovate or refresh areas without big investment. What I didn’t envisage is old vomit on my mattress topper, significant stains on the mattress topper, with hairs all in it. This is in addition to slug trails on carpets in the breakfast area, gunge coming out of the apple juice tap at breakfast time, TV not working in the bedroom with the last electrical test 2 years out of date, hot water tap in the bathroom not switching off when used and gushing out, requiring a fix and never to be used again. Shower head also broken and not staying in the holder. I did move rooms but the 2nd room and bed exactly the same. That being said, the beds looked brand new, the mattress under the dirty topper in great condition and the bed was actually the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. The staff were friendly and wanted to do their best but probably lacking the right leadership to really improve all the areas needed. I paid £200 for 2 nights, some friends paid less for the same room. I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t stay again. However, we did enjoy the bar area, karaoke and Drag Artist, but think it was largely due to being with around 20 friends and us all having a good time together. I genuinely try to see the positive, but if it wasn’t for the desperation of a room and the location to Winter Gardens, I probably would have attempted to look for other accommodation.

We come as group of friends and had very good time. Rooms side by side, all clean and comfortable. Location perfect for everything – beach, tram, pubs all close. Staff help us a lot, very friendly team.

Breakfast very tasty, good coffee and fresh food every morning. Dining room clean and staff talk nicely with guests. Feel like home here, not like big hotel. Warm people, nice stay

Hotel feel different now, new owners take care properly. Everything clean, bar open and nice music, staff happy faces. You can feel good energy in hotel. We enjoy a lot. No complain at all

I stay here last year also, but now hotel much better. New management doing very good job. Staff more friendly, room clean and fresh. You can really see big change.

Don’t stay here! Dirty dirty place! Bed bugs, hair in sink, dirty shower. Couldn’t wait to get out!

Bed bugs all over bed sisters had to get up no one at reception to sort another room didnt sleep other guests complaining bed bugs needs shutting down

Ideal location for sea front, attractions, bars and shopping. Advertised online as double room and most definitely is not. Bed was only a small double and our room only had 1 teacup with 1 teabag and coffee sachet. Shower was cold, had to run water for 15 minutes before it got warm and only 1 big towel, room didn’t look anything like pictures or as described online. Friends shower in the room next door not as pictured either and shower was only a small amount of running water, not enough to shower in.

On arrival all looked good but omg how wrong i was. Downstairs reception and bar area looked inviting but thats where it ended. The first room was filthy absolutely awful. I asked to change rooms but the 2nd wasnt much better. The pictures used are not what we stayed in or seen. The 3 rooms i viewed was all the same. Even the clean bedding was still dirty. This place needs an absolute fortune spending on it. Couldnt get hot water either. For what we paid for 2 days was disgusting even dick turpin wore a mask when ripping people off. I'll post photos. Definitely will not be returning.

I liked how it was convenient but I wish there was an option for a hot breakfast.

The hotel is run down and the rooms are nothing like whats showing on the pictures the curtain rail was hanging down the windows wouldn't open and mold in the showers not a very clean hotel but the one good thing about the hotel is the staff they were great and very helpful especially Stacey

Nice big bedroom and very clean

The hotel was pretty run down and the rooms look nothing like what you see in the pictures and the rooms are not for anyone using a wheelchair the showers are very small so if your well built its not for you.The staff at the hotel was great especially Stacey as nothing wasn't to much trouble for her she is a credit to the hotel.We had bit of a time trying to sleep becaue of noise from the upper floors which i complained about and the manger was very helpful and offered us another room.

We were first greeted by a tired lady who didn’t really want to speak or check us in, Overall cleanliness was poor, we didn’t want to use the bathroom sink or shower due to the brown stained plugs etc. Beds were clean but all walls had lots of marked and dirt.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast great for gluten free. I asked for some gluten free toast and the manager took the time to go and buy a gluten free loaf from the shops. I thought this was extremely kind of them to do this. Entertainment at night was very enjoyable great singer. Would recommend the comfort inn to all my friends and we will return.

Excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable room with very little noise, despite it being so busy. Super entertainment and well mannered staff. I couldn’t fault a thing!

Comfortable room, had a desk with mirror as requested which was perfect, staff were extremely polite, nice and helpful. Room size wasn't enormous but enough space to move around, shower was a little awkward to get out of but found it really cozy, and the provided shower gel was really nice. Would definitely stay again.
