Room was unclean, dust on all work surfaces, carpets weren’t hoovered. the one chair in the room was broken with a sharp screw stick up. The shower cubical was mouldy & the shower head was thick black mould (we didn’t venture in there) Beds appeared clean and were comfortable

Bed was comfy but that’s about it really.

Convenient

Very tired room. Extremely small size room with a dated bathroom and poor shower. Soap dispensers above sink and in shower both fell off wall first time using it. Went to go to bed at 10pm on the first night (of a 2 night stay) and the karaoke/entertainment started which seemed to be right below our room (room 11) horrendous noise. No mention of entertainment on hotel website. Went to ask what time it was on until, female reception staff told me it would stop at 12pm, although this was not the case, it finished at 1am. My son was dancing in a competition over a 4 day period in the Winter Gardens which is why we chose the hotel. Would definitely not recommended and will not stay again. Really disappointing.

The room looked as it had been refurbished recently, but not quite finished. The plastic around the divans was still on, but ripped. The bedding was absolutely fine and clean though. The shower room is one I always think is important and in room 17 slightly lets it down, but all points are easily addressed. The toilet seat was loose, the shower gel pack had come off the wall and was empty anyway, and the the shower head wouldn’t tighten on the riser rail so just fell to the bottom of the rail. As I say these are relatively minor points and easily fixed, and would have improved my rating of 4 to 5.

Staff were very helpful and let us leave bags there when we arrived early. Bedroom was okay and had facility to make a warm drink, however bed was a small double so not overly a lot of room. Was no hot water in the morning for a shower, was luke warm at a push.

Bathroom was minuscule. Could barely turn to sit on the toilet. Shower didn’t run hot and bed side lights didn’t work.

I booked this hotel for my daughter who is 22 and was travelling alone. when she checked in she noticed that the window wouldn't close. I wasn't happy when she told me so I called the hotel and explained the safety issue and asked if they could take a look. I then called her back there was already a knock on her door from the handy man. He couldn't fix it so they moved her to another room. I am so impressed with the service and speed that the hotel dealt with my concerns and would definately recommend them.

Car park opposite is ideal and super close to town which is great. Hotel is however so dated, and cleanliness in rooms and outside of hotel is not great. WiFi doesn’t work. Everywhere creaks as you move around so woken by other families throughout stay as people moved through hotel. Hairdryer broken, toilet seat broken, shower pointless and dirty, throw on bed dirty, windows grotty.

Great location and easy parking opposite. If you just need a bed it’s fine but we were here for a competition so girls needed sleep It was like sleeping in a disco, hot water speradic, no hot breakfast Unfortunately won’t return as didn’t suit our needs

Bed wasnt level it , it dropped to one side so when you lay down you could tell, it was also very creaky so every time you moved it would make a loud sound, the toilet/bathroom door wouldnt close from the outside which ment the cold draft and light would come into the room at night and with the door next to the bed it wasnt ideal, there was also a damp patch on the wall this was noticed by the huge bubble in the paint work

The staff were friendly at reception and in the bar. But honestly the place is dreadful. Stained, threadbare carpets, rooms where there is no suggestion of maintenance (broken show holder, broken soap dispenser, shower that is impossible to bend down in, loo light not working. The English breakfast has gone - to be replaced by a pot of baked beans and hard boiled eggs. Bread for toast could not have been any thinner. The only way they can get away with this is because of their extreme proximity to the Winter Gardens. It feels as if it is being run into the ground. Blackpool does have some decent budget hotels - but this not one of them. It needs a complete overhaul.

Helt ok och slitet, dock bra och sköna sängar. Frukosten erbjöd väldigt lite alternativ men var ändå en frukost. Kan tänka mig boka här igen då priset var det som lockade, mycket bra pris och trevlig personal.

Having chosen Blackpool to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we looked for a mid-range hotel as we had planned to spend money on other things. Big mistake this was in choosing the Comfort Inn - Gresham Hotel. As per the norm, the room looked nothing like the photos, but this was so much worse. Dirty carpet that wasn’t vacuumed before arrival, mouldy shower, sickly toilet seat, broken blinds, drunken guests in adjacent room fighting at 3am, stained bath towel and which was small, and a tv that would not connect to freeview. The owner vapes throughout the common areas and made it unpleasant for us as non-smokers. Kevin served us at the bar and drink prices are reasonable and his recommendations for eating places was appreciated. Biggest plus is that there is parking directly opposite, and everything is in walking distance. Comfort Inn queries revert to an app that doesn’t work and one cannot contact anyone except through a direct call. We have reservations about how Comfort Inn achieved such a high rating, but it’s definitely not an accurate reflection of the standards they uphold. This is a 2/5 establishment and we will definitely spend that little bit extra to find somewhere better next time.

Hotel is shabby and down at heel. Although there has been some attempt at improving the condition of the rooms, there is a pervasive sense that management do not care. No hot water for the shower on arrival (resolved - boiler was off!), Tired and marked bed linen although mattress felt newish. Breakfast (not purchased) was a joke. Billed as continental it fell far short of that description. The only positive, whuch raised my rating considerably was the staff member that seemed to be there morning, moon and night, working the bar, reception, and who knows what else. She was always smiling, pleasant, and caring. The only other member of staff, the gentleman that checked me in was the pokar opposite, dressed in track pants and old top with a surly, indifferent manner.

Room was quiet and comfortable. Location suited us well. Bar was a nice bonus in the evening.

Superb Experience. The staff was super helpful and the stay was very comfortable and nice. In House Bar had a brilliant vibe. Loved it.
