From the beginning of arriving by car, I was greeted by the hotel valet service .. the car was really well taken care of and without any hope of lacking anything .. then entered the reception on the 1st floor, provided a FREE Welcome Drink, the check-in process was fast, the receptionist was also helpful and informative .. entered the room hallway, the hallway although carpeted but not dusty and clean, even though it was a smoking room but I salute, from the hallway and the room there was no cigarette smell at all .. the room was also very spacious with a balcony and what I liked most was that pitchers and gallons were lined up to reduce plastic waste .. inside the room was also clean and fragrant and there was a google nest .. moreover the google nest can set an alarm so you don't have to worry about oversleeping for breakfast .. oh yes, for breakfast it was very varied, then I was most "WOW" because they provided mixed Madurese porridge .. why is that when I was also really craving Madurese porridge for breakfast .. and the menu was also sooooooooo much .. when checking in they also gave me a grace period until 12:30 from which should be at 12:00.. there is a swimming pool, gym on the top floor itself.. the service from Aston is really great..

I chose this hotel because it was relatively close to my destination. The security guard was very helpful with lifting my luggage, as there are stairs leading to the lobby. Breakfast wasn't included because I was staying overnight and leaving early. I'll probably stay here again next time I visit Surabaya, and I'll definitely try the food and swimming. I think the location is strategic.

I was initially given room 502, but it was stuffy, smelly, the refrigerator was dead, and there were cockroaches. I brought a baby, so I asked to change rooms and was given 510, which was fine. I'll upgrade again, please.

The room ambiance is homey and modern, although not very large. Complete amenities are replaced daily (if you feel they don't need to be replaced daily, just ask housekeeping). Mineral water is provided in the hallway, you can freely fill it. Tea, coffee, and sugar are complete and refilled daily. Breakfast has a lot of variety, but honestly, the taste is not very satisfying. When I stayed, it might have been less delicious. There is a swimming pool on the rooftop that is suitable for small children or a beautiful dip while enjoying the sunset. An aesthetic and Instagrammable cafe is also on the top floor. The reception and restaurant service are good, but there are not many smiles.

Experience staying at Aston for 4 nights. (+) The service is quite good, the staff is friendly (+) The room is comfortable, clean, and fragrant (+) Room service, the oxtail soup menu is really delicious (-) Only the food variety is not much because during the 4 days of staying the menu is the same like food that is heated every day (-) The parking lot is small so you have to valet, so it's a bit complicated if you want to get in and out (-) The hotel location is not strategic.
