I've actually stayed at Novotel several times, but this was my first time with my family. Thank God, it was a very pleasant experience. Friendly service, spacious rooms, and well-functioning facilities. Finding food at night is also easy because it's close to Bekapai Park and several other cafes within a radius of less than 500 meters. In the morning, breakfast was delicious. Novotel's strengths are definitely its delicious breakfast and diverse menu options, from Western to Eastern to Indonesian. The only downside is the gym access, as it's currently under renovation, hehe. Hopefully, next time I come here, I'll be able to use all the facilities.

The staff are very friendly and announced my arrival as guest of the day with all the perks provided. The bed is comfortable for relaxing. Overall Everything is great, Upon arrival the security greeted us with friendliness then assisted by the reception staff the check in process was fast without any hassle, the breakfast was varied and delicious. Every time I go to Balikpapan, I always stay at this hotel. What I like is that the room is always clean and comfortable, although it's a bit cramped, but it's okay for me who often stays here alone. If I'm too lazy to go out, I can order food downstairs, the price is affordable, delicious and can be delivered to my room. The best. Hopefully the hotel will always be like this, so I don't get confused about where to stay when I go to Balikpapan 👍.

Spent the week in the city trying 4 hotels, including 4-star hotels. Out of these hotels, we would definitely choose to stay here again if in Balikpapan. The hotel is only 3 stars and quite old, but we were very surprised at the renovation they did to the room. It was super comfy. The size itself was more spacious than the average hotel rooms and everything went well. There was no problem with the AC, water faucets, cleanliness, etc. We only complained that the last guest had smoked in the room, and the receptionist quickly called to treat the room. Thank you for the service!
