There was a bit Aircon problem when I checked in at the initial day but the Supervisor handled situation very well and managed to move me to another upgraded room for complimentary; appreciate the efforts. The overall stay was great Hotel facility and staffs hospitality were awesome as well as the food. View from 18th floor was magnificent by overlooking Makassar’s iconic new Mosque moreover the sunset gazing experience was unforgettable. I would like to rebook this property sometime in the future. This hotel is awesome. The receptionist and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable especially the bed. The view also overlooks the sea but I can still see the city. So that from my room, I can see two views at once. Btw, the deposit is only Rp. 200,000 which is still cheap for a 4-star hotel. This hotel is highly recommended. I will be back there again for my next staycation.

The staff are friendly and respond quickly. We really loved the room, it was very spacious! The bathroom is fully equipped with a bathtub, hairdryer, and toiletries. But the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast. I was amazed by the variety of food on offer, and everything was very tasty!

Golden Tulip Essential Makassar
I had a great time staying at Golden Tulip Essential Makassar. It was a spacious bed for twin and I like the decoration especially the bathroom, on top of that the hotel area is very strategic. Near from the main attraction which is Losari Beach (you can take a walk for around 7-10 mins only) and there is convenience store across the street as well with a lot of restaurants around. Overall it was a great value of money, but one thing needs to be improved is most of the staff were slow when it comes to guests request, they need to be reminded frequently to get your request done.
