The hotel is nicely located in the old part of Malang township. It is situated in a road curve surrounded by many dutch built houses which are generally well preserved. A short 10-minutes walk from the hotel will get you to a clean and well maintained Pasar (traditional market) Oro Oro Dowo. This part of township is also connected to each other by a network of calm and quiet city streets, thanks to lush shaded trees along the road, providing great comfort to pedestrian. Most trees are angsana (pterocarpus indicus), mahogany (swietenia macrophylla), kersen (muntingia calabura), and trembesi (albizia saman). This neighborhood really impressed us who are both keen hikers.

We had a very nice stay in the guesthouse. The owner can speak English. She is very helpful and accommodating. She recommended a restaurant/coffee shop where you can eat and drink. Also, she recommended some beautiful places to visit nearby with detailed instructions. The place is very relaxing. The room and toilet are clean with a hot/cold shower. Each area/level is provided with a place to dine in with a hot/cold water dispenser, cups and plates. I have forgotten to take some photos but what you see is what you get from the site posted. My experience staying here with my husband was very pleasant. I like the concept of a minimalist but luxurious hotel. The place in the center of Malang is not too difficult to find near the train station too. The place is really cool, the service is friendly, the rooms are clean and super comfortable for me and my husband. Anyway, this will be one of my favorite hotels to stay if you vacation in Malang again :)

This guest house surely is a premium guest house. The guest is house is located on the main road and surrounded by many restaurants. The room is very comfortable, clean and not too narrow. The AC and hot water worked perfectly. Unfortunately their cafe was closed so you couldn't have a late night snack delivered to your room. Overall, this guest house is recommended for everyone who wants to stay in a cheaper but fancy place.
