voco BANDUNG SETIABUDI by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is new, smells good and is very pleasant.

FO: The concierge and security staff were very helpful in unloading our luggage, and we were given a welcome drink. Our room was on the 8th floor with the best view, and inside there was a welcome greeting on the mirror and a welcome cinnamon cake. My kids loved it, thank you. Room: Clean, with complete amenities. There was a hairdryer and ironing board, and the bathroom mirror was clean. It was well maintained, thank you. The only downside was the tea sachets in the room weren't branded enough to match the star rating of the hotel. While hotels like Marriott and Accor offer more for the same rating, this is a new hotel. Swimming Pool: Warm water, which is perfect for Bandung's cold climate, makes it more child-friendly, thank you. Kids Corner: Located next to the swimming pool, if it's very busy during breakfast time in the morning, perhaps traffic could be managed (I didn't see any staff on duty). They could regulate the number of people inside, as the room is small. They could also open a kids corner in another area to reduce crowds. Since I've had kids' activities at other hotels on weekends, this hotel should be able to accommodate this, as there's ample space between the restaurant and the swimming pool. Restaurant: Upon arrival while waiting for our room to be prepared, we dined a la carte. One of the items we ordered was fish and chips. However, the fish we received was 1/3 of the size, which seemed undercooked, difficult to cut, and had a fishy smell. I don't know if it was cooked incorrectly or if the fish was of poor quality. For a price above 125,000++ (before tax and service), it seems inappropriate, and IHG should pay more attention to food quality. Breakfast: The food variety was adequate. It was crowded, so we were directed to the outside seating area of the restaurant. There were no cutlery, no staff, and no tea, coffee, or water offered. And what makes it uncomfortable is the abundance of Flies, so if we leave the food and have to take it inside, it will definitely be infested. Maybe IHG could be more concerned about these Flies.

The location is strategic, the room is quite spacious and comfortable, but the food at breakfast was a bit lacking. For example, the soup for the lontong sayur (vegetarian rice cake) wasn't hot enough. The pastries, like the croissants, were delicious.

I had a good experience staying at this hotel, especially regarding security. Someone suddenly broke into my room one night. The hotel gave my room key to an outsider, and the outsider was able to access my room.

It was very pleasant to stay here with a peaceful and cool atmosphere, making the holiday very memorable and unforgettable for us, making us want to stay at this hotel again as soon as possible.

The engineering is friendly But the facilities are very disappointing, the price is expensive but it feels like a 2-3 star, from the hot water that is not right to having to wait 40 minutes. Then for breakfast you have to queue too, already queued but the food is also lacking, the rice is still hard as if it is not cooked. It seems like there is a lack of preparation, really disappointed

The hotel staff was very friendly upon check-in. The restaurant service was prompt and good. There was a wide selection of food. The heated swimming pool was very enjoyable.

A new hotel in Bandung, specifically in the Setiabudi area. The architecture is luxurious, from the lobby to the rooms. Complete amenities, including smart TVs. Highly recommended.

My first experience at VOCO was that enjoyable.. the room was clean, the service was excellent, the facilities were good, the pool was warm and relaxing, the ambiance was really good, I really like it for Gen Z like me hehe because the aesthetics are really good, the price is also really affordable, I like it.. I love it, thank you.

The front office staff didn't read my WhatsApp request. When I arrived at the hotel, they said the twin rooms were full, while I requested a connecting room the day before my arrival. Even though the rooms were next to each other, it was a hassle having to go back and forth between the rooms.

The staff was friendly, responsive, and fast. The only downside was the room cleanliness was not vacuumed upon check-in. The pizza and fried food from the in-room dining area were delicious. The breakfast menu was quite varied.

Overall, it's okay, but you need to review the break fast schedule so that it doesn't pile up at the same time because seats are limited.

All the facilities here are great, from the lobby to everything else. I think the bathroom concept is nice, but it's not convenient if we have kids because the bathroom doesn't close. As for breakfast, everything is delicious. It's really delicious... Thanks for the hospitality...

soundproof walls, parking is a bit small

Hotel was new and had a nice design. There was some issue with the room but the staff responded well. Top notch hospitality!

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is comfortable and the children's favorite is the warm water pool ❤️
