My stay at this hotel was very satisfying. The location is excellent—easily accessible and close to everything. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with modern interiors and all the necessary facilities. Although I chose a room that wasn’t very large, it was still quite spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Sakae.

More about hotels in Nagoya

A Brief Overview of Nagoya

Nagoya is a city located north of Ise Bay on the Nobi Plain. Nagoya is the largest city in the Chubu region and the third largest in Japan, after Tokyo and Osaka. It is no wonder that this metropolis is so densely populated.

Nagoya's history dates back to a courtier of Oda Nobunaga who separated the capital of Owari Province from Kiyosu to Nagoya. During the Meiji Restoration, rapid growth took place in Nagoya which became the center of Japan's major industries, including automobiles, aviation, ceramics, watches, and ships. After the war years, Nagoya remained a significant industrial and transportation center in Japan. As such, it is among the busiest business cities due to its many industrial parks, plus education and tourism.

The city is located on the Pacific in the center of Honshu and is often referred to as Chukyo. Nagoya is the capital and most populous city of Aichi Prefecture. Apart from its history, Nagoya is home to one of the oldest TV towers in Japan, the Nagoya TV Tower and Nagoya University which holds the top 28 in Asia (QS 2021).

The location was very near to JR Nagoya train station, we only needed to cross a road. JR station staff knew where the location of the hotel was, as the blue sign was visible from the station. The room was clean, amenities we could choose and pick ourselves, and there were 3 coin-operated laundromats. Everything was good.
