This is my favorite place, I will for sure stay here every time I come to Penang. The location is near New Lane street market, several options of minimarkets, dim sum place, pharmacies, and durians. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean, and all amenities are provided. They have service for those who are coming to Penang for medications, they provide free shuttle from and to several hospitals, and allow early check-in or late check-out if you still need time to complete your visit with your doctors.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Queen Room. The room is quite compact. The location is super, located across The Top Penang Komtar and Prangin Mall. Moreover, you can walk to Kimberly night market, very convenient location. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staying here was beyond my expectations. The hotel style is really modern, the room is quite spacious, and the bathroom is very proper and super spacious. Not so much variety of the breakfast, but I’m not complaining at all since it’s relatively cheap, all good and enough to have a quick breakfast before exploring Penang. The staff are kind and the location is very strategic too! Really a good deal at the rate offered 👍

This is my third stay at The Light Hotel Penang this year, and each visit has been consistently satisfying. The hospitality from every staff member is exceptional, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is delicious. Room rates are reasonable and include breakfast, which adds great value.
The hotel is surrounded by pleasant surroundings and offers easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. So far, this has been my preferred hotel whenever I visit Seberang Jaya.
