We always stay at one of their properties when we're in Cabo. Close enough to walk downtown and the area in frint is one of the nicest in Cabo. You can use their other properties restuarants as well and charge them to your room which are excellent options

Love the private beach and the short hike into the village and marina .
Going down the sand and up and over for a short hike into lovers beach and the sea of Cortez was also cool !

We had a wonderful time at Solmar resort! It was nice and quiet, but very close to the marina. We walked down every night for dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

The Solmar resort was OK. The staff was the best part- very friendly and helpful. The resort itself is older so the amenities are outdated- the shower didn’t drain well, the sheets were itchy, the windows shook at night with the wind, no extra locks on the doors. It is also located on the side of the ocean where you cannot go in so do not stay here if you want actual beach access

We stayed at The Ridge at Playa Grande. The private pool area was absolutely the perfect relaxation spot. The view of the marina was great. The staff at the sports bar were very friendly and attentive. Julio and Javier are amazing. They recognized us right away from our previous visits. We really enjoy this resort.

We had a few issues with getting housekeeping and not being told there was already a tip added to meal. The resort prices for meals/drinks are more expensive than in Vancouver.

The food was really good. The property was fairly quiet and not too crowded. Our room had a lot of space for the price. The beachfront location was beautiful.
Two negatives were our repeated request for a shade to the window in our bathroom that let in a lot of light at night and the front desk telling us they would send someone from maintenance, but no one ever came. There was also no way to get drinkable water except asking for water bottles from the restaurant. We’ve stayed at other all inclusive resorts that have filtered water dispensers in the hallway that are much more convenient.
We got the all inclusive and every time you get anything from a restaurant they print a bill and ask for your room number and signature. The prices are printed on the bill but totaled to zero—this seems to be for tipping purposes but the prices are incredibly inflated to the point that a basic breakfast would be over $100 USD if you don’t have the all inclusive package. Your eating options are at the main restaurant, poolside sushi/pizza/burgers, and one other casual restaurant/bar.
It was a pleasant stay for the price but probably won’t go back due to the inconveniences we experienced and limited dining options.

I would have given this property a better review but one staff, a waiter in their breakfast restaurant made a bad impression to me and my family. This waiter will always shoutout the name “Pacquiao” for the Filipino Boxer Manny Pacquiao because he knew my family and I are Filipino. But the way he says the name Pacquiao sounds like the English “F-U” word. I corrected him on the way to pronounce the name and yet he will continue to say it the way he did. Not sure if it’s on purpose but having everyone around us hear him say the word to us sounding like the “F U” word without knowing what’s happening is very uncomfortable. It truly tainted what could have a been a great stay.
