The room was kept very clean our whole trip and they were very generous with the towel supply.

This is a wonderful hotel for the price. Right on the water, but you do have to walk up and down a long ramp multiple times per day, so it would not work for anyone disabled.

Room was spacious and clean! Could not take your own drinks to the pool but besides that no complaints

Reasonable value. Awesome staff. I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom. There was kind of a squeaky noise from the ac, so they moved me to the king suite which was fine for me as a solo traveler. The 1 bedroom is gigantic and almost too big for one person. It would be great for a family.

The staff were very friendly. Room spotless. The first rooms were so cold and moldy we asked them if we could change rooms and the rooms we moved into were much better. We appreciated their help. The swimming pool was permeated with so many chemicals it actually hurt the skin on my face as I was doing laps and tasted terrible. So I couldn't swim. It was not a swimming beach and everytime we walked close to the water on our early morning walk a hotel employee came to admonish us we were walking too close to the ocean. I understood and saw there was a strong back tow and it was important to keep a watchful eye on the waves and I felt their concern bordered on harassment. On the website it advertised there was a gym but in reality the gym was in the hotel next door and use of it cost $11. US for one time use. The quality of the food served was poor.

The transportation the hotel set up was very convenient. Upon arrival, check-in was very easy. Our room was very clean and ready when we showed up. Our room had two balconies, a full kitchen and living room area, two bathrooms. During the stay, the resort was very peaceful and quiet at night. The staff was incredibly friendly during our stay, remembering names, orders, and things that we told them, like it being my birthday. Both pools and the hot tub were very clean. The food was great! Everything we had, I would have again. I just wish I ate more and drank less lol! There were activities on the resort, including exercise, blackjack, a sea turtle release, jewelry making, etc. We honestly can't wait to go back!

They upgraded our room marina view suite and it was amazing to see the entire Cabo San Lucas skyline . Staff was amazing as usual in Mexico

Rooms need improvement. Large hard bumpy shell design that sticks out about 10 inches right where you lay your head to sleep. Hit my head multiple times and woke up with kinks in my neck. Bed sinks in the middle. No good sleep the whole stay. Bathroom shower and sink took an hour too drain after use. Breakfast was not worth what I paid. Very small menu and choices. Food and drinks were very over priced. Room service was very small portions and very large bill. Hot tub was scary with light sticking out with exposed wires. I pointed it out to staff while at the pool area. Nothing was done. Room was not cleaned well. Sand on floors. Location was good. Enjoyed watching the ocean waves, boats, and whales. Although beach is not swimmable. Long walk down hill to get back and forth to marina and downtown shopping. Although the rain flooded the whole town after a little reason so maybe it's a good thing they are up on the hill. I made the best of my stay while on vacation but I would not stay here again.

Solmar is a great value - muy tranquilo! Property is nicely maintained, included breakfast delicious, pool lovely and clean. Room is dated as expected, but quite large. Access to the gorgeous beach so close, but bear in mind it's not swimmable due to currents. Also the convenience to being able to walk to downtown Cabo and the pier is great. The only hiccup were the cocktails-- not good. Other than that, you'll have a lovely affordable time at Solmar!

Horrible experiencia nunca acepten presentacion de bienvenida ya que te hacen perder mas de 4 horas de tiempo, la señorita Cinthya nos queria obligar a comprar una membresia carisima que no traia ningun beneficio tengan mucho cuidado ya que te piden mucha informacion personal muy abusivos con sus precios no me vuelvo a quedar

Our room was perfect! The staff at Solmar are the most friendliest and most helpful I have EVER come across.They treated us like royalty. I am definitely making a return trip. I highly recommend staying at Solmar Resort.
