This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip. The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Having coffee available in the room was a nice touch and much appreciated. The lobby was another highlight, with a large and comfortable seating area where guests could relax. The complimentary coffee drinks created a welcoming atmosphere, and the pizza kiosk served delicious pizza that was perfect for a quick meal. Overall, the hotel offered a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. Everything was well organized, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great budget hotel to stay whilst exploring Amsterdam. Staff were friendly and helpful. Staff were constantly cleaning the communal areas. Like I said it’s on the lower end of prices for hotels but its location is superb. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Lidl and Albert Hein and a 9 minute walk to the metro.

Room was clean but a couple of areas that were a bit worn especially on the walls. Bathroom was great, coffee and tea available if needed. We ate in the city so can’t rate the food but the vending machines were reasonable for a late night sugar fix. Not too far from the tram stop and we felt it was very peaceful

The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were generally good: bar (limited opening hours), gym, vending machines etc. We had a triple room, the beds had very soft mattresses resulting in us sinking into our beds. The nespresso coffee machine was a nice addition. The wet room wasn’t great, with a poor layout resulting in one side of the toilet becoming wet after the shower was used. The upkeep was poor with the towel rail very loose on the wall feeling as though it would fall off if more than one towel was hung on it, and the sink’s mixer tap not fitted to the sink allowing water to leak around its base to the floor. The area around the hotel is a strange mixture of rundown and dirty alongside some new buildings. Homeless people hanging around the neighbouring streets asking for money or cigarettes. The hotel is convenient for the number 2 tram to get into central Amsterdam in about 15-20 mins. It is a 5 mins walk to Lidl or Albert Heijn grocery stores. The stay was ok for our short budget trip to Amsterdam but I wouldn’t recommend it for any one travelling with a young family.

Room cleanliness was satisfactory, we had problems with dirty sheets but the manager was straight on it and had everything changed. Staff were lovely especially the female manager she was extremely friendly and we chatted everyday about what we had been doing! Breakfast buffet was lovely. There is a small gym which is great for the kids in the evening. Could definitely do with something for children within the hotel. There is only a pizza machine (which is nice) and a vendor machine with sweets and drinks which was quite expensive. Other food options would be great. It would be good if the restaurant was open for dinner and seems like such a wasted space. The area is a little run down but 15 mins on the metro which is a 5 minute walk away and you are in the city which worked well for us. Overall i would return again.

The television in the room is very tiny and does not work. No waters in the room. Some staff don’t pay attention to the “do not disturb” sign. The location is actually a bit more deceiving, as it is hard to get into the city or even collect a bolt. Not very tourist friendly.

The hotel is great! Everything was clean, we were able to get to our room early for an extra fee but we were grateful for that since we were on a bus the night before for 7 hours from Paris to Amsterdam! It is well located ! I recommend this stay

I accidentally canceled the first reservation before the due date for a full refund, but when I checked in, I was told I still owed about 300 euros, labeled as “left to pay”. I spoke to the front desk lady, and she said the reason I was charged was because I canceled one reservation. I explained I canceled it by the due date, and she checked and assured me I wouldn't be charged. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I found out I was still billed. I contacted Expedia, the company I booked the hotel through, and luckily, their representative was very helpful. They told me not to worry and assured me they would work with the hotel because the booking is fully refundable. Eventually, I got my money back, but unfortunately, I spent a lot of time on this, and it ruined my first day trip in Amerstan, which was disappointing.

Great safe clean centrally located hotel. Not a quaint little local charming suite but a regular block of a hotel with clean rooms & a safe quiet place to sleep. We had 3 tiny single beds with tiny blankets lol vs one bed between the two of us, but we managed. Room was a bit warm but had plug in fans to use. Instant coffee & tea & kettle in room as well. The hotel lobby had pizza, coffee & ice cream vending machines. Fantastic restaurants near by! 1. Cedars: Lebanese Restaurant 2. Lokaal van de Stad: amazing Pub 3. Benji’s: awesome cafe
