Room clean no issues Could do with maintenance do in shower room.

The room didnt feel like it had been deep cleaned for a long time with the dust visible. The rooms looked tired and old

Very convenient location, easy check in, friendly staff, free hot chocolate and coffee. Carried luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Convenient place 3 min from train station. Neighbors were leaving at 5am, noise from adjacent room killed my sleep. Steep stairs, would be difficult if you have luggage

The room had not been cleaned, and there was no front desk available to address the issue. The sheets were heavily stained and clearly had not been changed, and the bathroom was also not clean. As other reviews have mentioned, there are no elevators, and the staircase is extremely steep, narrow, and spiral. This wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, but it’s definitely something guests should be aware of. Communication from the hotel staff was poor throughout my stay. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The only positive is its convenient location - just a three-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station.

False advertising. This is not a hotel it is a hostel. The stairs are an injury waiting to happen, the wifi doesn’t work on the top floor and the lower floors smell like sewage. Walls are paper thin you hear everything. The quality was of a $30 hostel I can’t believe I paid $85. Will never stay here again.

Room and shared washroom were dirty

We stayed there for 2 days. It was a mild surprise to find it so close the Central Station. Communication with the place was pathetic. At least there was a sign on the door to go to reception at Sorel Hotel across the street. I was told the room access kdy opens the front door. Not true. We needed the code for the front door. You had to go uptairs on a steep windy staircase which lead to the second floor that had no reception staff. The room was bare minimum. Only 2 bath towels. No extra towels like a face cloth. We booked a queen bed with a private shower. The bathroom was so tiny with no shower curtain so it soaked the toilet if you showered. The tv was very tiny but at least it worked. Not sure if I would ever stay there again...

There was mould all up the walls and around the bottom of the wall . The stairs where like a ladder ( not on website) The walls were paper thin and could here the neighbouring room The bed was comfortable and locating was good , close to transport and restaurants

The place is an old building. There are few rooms in every floor and they are sharing 1 shower room and 1 bathroom. Every room have their own sink but that is it. Not recommended for people bringing lots of things. If you get the room on the top floor, you have to drag them up on the very steep narrow stairs. Location wise, its 100%. The “Hotel” word that they are using is a bit missleading.

Excellent location with access to restaurants and transportation nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Can’t beat the location. Lots of stairs. Clean. Would definitely stay here again
