Really good location

The location of this hotel is perfect, within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station and all of the major attractions! The room had beautiful windows overlooking the street below. You can hear some of the noise below throughout the night, but nothing that we minded. There is no check-in desk at this hotel, but it is affiliated with the hotel across the street and the staff there was very helpful and allowed us to store our bags since we arrived before check-in. Note that there is no elevator in this building and the spiral staircase is very narrow and winding. The shower head is located on the wall in the bathroom — there is no stall or curtain around the shower head. So when you shower, the toilet and everything in the bathroom will be wet. The staff cleaned while we were out each day, so we always came back to a dry bathroom. Some water leaked under the door as well, and we were only given 2 bath towels, so we got a third towel each day to keep water from running out into the bedroom. Overall this was a good stay and we had a beautiful few days in Amsterdam and Holland!

I stayed in an extremely small 1 twin bed size room with only a little sink and a twin bed about the size of a walk in of about 7 feet by 5 feet. They really should not be renting a room that small. You only got one large towel per day. That was your amenity. No soap, small towels, blankets. The bathroom and shower were located on opposite ends of the hallway outside the room. They were shared with other guest. The expense I paid for that room for 6 nights was incredibly steep for the size of the room and the amenities. Over 200.00 per night. Possibly the 2 bed rooms may be nicer but the single twin beds are not worth the price. More of a hostel room then a hotel room.

Good location.. very helpful and kind saff theres no doubt for it.. i give the. 10stars.. but amenities not soo. They must to provide tissues box i dont get that, but not needed..plus i feel bad that after my stay and i stipped my bed the duvy got lots of blood im feeling like to vomit.and the pillow protector its not clean and the bed protector.. towel first give me 1 only then i ask for more.. This hotel its only good for the people with out mobility problem and for young ones and solo traveller that have no bigger or lots of stuff to carry...It is not for elderly because theres no elevators.and The stairs its too dangerous.. its seems not being pass to a safety requirements.. very narrow entrance that if theres a fire you can be trap inside. The inside room is clean.. except check your duvy, pillow and towels thouroughly you might get with lots of stain or never been change.and put to wash...Also the.property or the owner must provide shower amenities..

Good Location, easy online check in and out ,very basic room ,did the job for one night.

Position wise, it’s ideal. It was relatively clean. However, when we arrived we had no toilet tissue, no soap no shower gel. Nothing! The walls are paper thin, you can hear people talking. The stairs in the common parts are a little dangerous and it doesn’t help that stuff was kept in the common parts.

Nowhere did it mention we would have to haul luggage up 4 flights of very tight winding staircases. We are an older couple, this information would have been appreciated. Also no fire escape plan, other than the only staircase.

Room was basic as expexted, floors werent overly clean, bedding on arrival was dirty. Private Shower was better than expected and gets VERY hot!! Like 3rd degree burning hot. Location was amazing being so close to the station and easily walkable to all tourist attractions and things you want to do. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a cheap basic hotel room for their time in Amsterdam.

Basic, staff responded swiftly to request for tea making equipment. Room cleaned each day to good standard. Location convenient but noisy. Take ear plugs. Very comfortable bed

This is an ideal hotel as a base there were several things that could have been better but for the price and the location it was perfect for us

Didn’t feel safe, front door is unmanned and automatic right onto the street, stays open too long. Door to bedroom areas was broken and handle kept coming off. Room was ok but stank of old smoke and was dusty and a bit gross, bathroom felt like a hostel

Nothing spectacular about the property. It was clean and comfortable. Better description of the staircase required as the photo doesn’t convey just how narrow the staircase actually is.

Location is perfect for exploring Amsterdam. It’s also right by the Centraal station, which makes it easy to walk your luggage from the station to the hotel. Reception is across the street from the hotel entrance. There is a very steep staircase before you get to your room. Room was mostly clean; it just smelled like mildew. No mini fridge, so don’t bring perishables. Heater works fine, or just open the window for AC Bathroom was nice. Hot water & very clean

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The staircase was extremely steep and there appeared to be no accessible alternative such as a lift, which would make the property very difficult, if not impossible, for anyone with mobility issues. This should be clearly disclosed to guests before booking. To make matters worse, the stairwell ; which also serves as an emergency exit, was being used as a storage area, with wood planks, bedding and other debris partially blocking the passage. This is not only unprofessional but a serious safety concern, as it would be dangerous in the event of an emergency. Overall, the condition of the property did not meet basic safety or accessibility expectations and did not reflect acceptable hotel standards. I would not feel comfortable staying here again and cannot recommend it to others.

The accessibility was ok but would have liked to have known that the stairs were challenging and also the shower den was backing up such cm

Last room I had was better but still decent
