Bathala Resort

Resort is excellent - beautiful grounds, pool is absolutely wonderful, restaurant onsite is good and service and staff are exceptional. Location is also great - an easy walk to the beach, many restaurants are very close. Room was clean, spacious and super comfortable. Highly recommend Bathala!

Place is clean staff ate good but dogs baking even how friendly they are should not be be in ffront or reception desk because new guests scared to check in. We love dogs but foreigners are not use to any hotel resorts with dogs baking in front of reception area. It should not be acceptable sorry

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at BATHALA. The staff are amazing - susan and christian thank you for your hospitality. The resort is clean, tidy, spacious and caters well to your needs. The beds are comfortable and the shower is amazing. I could not recommend this hotel enough

Overall the property was beautiful. I believe due to the renovation going on the drainage in the bathroom had an unpleasant smell.

staff are very friendly and accommodating, everyone are nice ! Parking spot is the only issue but not a big deal to us, overall the place is spectacular and calming , love the swimming pool ! definitely will come back !

Super Friendly staff; comfortable bed, clean room

The staff are authentically friendly and happy people which made it a joy to stay at this resort - very easy to have a conversation and a joke with The rooms are clean and at the expected standard The photos of the resort are realistic of what to expect It’s a very short 5 to 10 walk to Alona beach A lot of Koreans (families) stay here and all seem to be enjoying themselves - it was refreshing for us not to have to run into heaps of other Australians or Europeans. I highly recommend this resort and if ever come back this way would definitely book here

We stayed a week

Facility is clean and attractive. However, on either side of the property are constructions for the Sister companies. When we arrived on Tuesday, September 17 at 2 PM, we found that Jack Hammer was ongoing right outside our door with the only partition being a black plastic to keep the dust out. My head hurt after less than five minutes because of the very extremely loud jackhammer noise right outside my door. They did request that the jackhammer would stop however, there are two of them and only one stopped. They should have a warning on Orbitz or any booking websites that they have construction going on and that a very loud jackhammer noise will be outside your door so that we don’t have to waste time going there in the first place. There was No refund because it was booked with orbit. And orbit site didn’t warn an ongoing extremely loud construction. I’ll let somebody else stay at the place because I couldn’t. My head was hurting less than five minutes of arrival. Disappointed with ORBITZ for the lack of EXTREMELY DEAFENING noise warning though.

The hotel is really nice. Room was fantastic and loved how they made the hotel into little pockets where to relax. Unrelated to the hotel, but be mindful of the price of restaurants in the area as some are largely inflated.

Property is nice but lacks vehicle parking!

Hi expectations with Bathala rating 10 out of 10 in reviews. Bathala is good but not that good. Clean, Good food, very comfortable, and quite. Not the best value. No happy hour. No free shuttle No free breakfast. Where many other resorts in Panglao offer this. We are happy to have stayed here 3 nights and best to learn short cut to Alona on 1st night not the last night as I did. Saves sweat and slot of walking distance. Would recommend if you looking for quite stay. We would stay again depending on price . Extra 30$ AUD you would get to stay in Hennan. Ivy Wall Best Western. At the moment stay at BE Grand. This is how I compare this review. Bathala is good will rate 7 out of 10.

The hotel is beautiful. Nice and friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms, nice bathroom, the balcony view is lovely.

Upon arrival we were greated warmheartedly by the staff. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was great as well. During our stay the staff was super friendly and very accommodating and attentive to our needs (e.g. booked tuk tuks, rented a scooter etc. for us within minutes). Overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend staying at the Bathala Resort.

Otroligt trevligt mysigt mindre hotell , som en liten oas. Härlig pool med poolbar och bra priser på ölen, 100 pesos. Väldigt trevlig personal och vi blev väl omhändertagna. Rena och fräscha rum. Kan varmt rekommendera

Lovely place slight off the most “touristy” streets, but still very close to everything. Incredible staff with unparalleled service level.
