Close to train station and ferries. Walk to old town in minutes. Hotel recommended Italian/Swedish restaurant best steak my husband has ever eaten and he loves steak. 3 minutes walk. I think this was a perfect location. Caught the bus 5 minutes walk after checking in and went straight to Mt Pilates. It was a great weekend visit.

The property was centrally located. Easy walk to superb public transport. Breakfast was fantastic and included, served in a beautiful breakfast room. Cleaning staff were excellent. Large rooms were a welcome surprise. Would stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable, but small as was the bathroom. The balcony was tiny with a view of the alleyway in the back of the hotel.
The breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful!

Decent hotel. Excellent location. The breakfast that comes with it is a plus, especially considering how expensive dining is around here and Switzerland in general. The dining area also has a community fridge for guests to use along with a microwave. I like the 24/7 free coffee machine and the selections of teaa in the dining area for guests.

Front desk staff was so helpful checking in - gave us suggestions for restaurants, chocolate, sites to see.
Breakfast was great, and nice to have access to coffee and drinks throughout our stay, and balcony to relax.
Convenient location to the train station and old town.

Close to train station, covered bridges, and Old Town, but a bit basic. Front desk personnel were professional and helpful, but the desk and entry are not supervised overnight. One needs a key to enter after hours. Breakfast was plentiful.

Hotel very good clean and most of all the vegetarian restaurant is only 3 steps walk to the left from the main hotel reception. Friendly receptionist. Very convenient to all local amenities. Walkable to Luzern lake. Recommendable! 🌞🌞🌞

Great little hotel close to train station, restaurants and shopping.
The breakfast that was included with the stat was delicious with nice variety of fresh fruit, breads, and other options in the charming dining area.

All the staff were friendly and professional. They made it feel like home. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was super convenient. I loved their daily breakfast buffet which was included in hotel rate. Overall, this was a great hotel and I would love to come back when I visit Lucerne.

We found Hotel Central Luzern to be a reasonably priced (relatively speaking) hotel in Lucerne with a lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. It is very centrally located near the train station and ferry terminal, which was a real benefit not only for walking through the city and visiting other spots on this beautiful lake, but also since we used Lucerne as a hub for day trips to other cities in Switzerland, taking advantage of the excellent train service. Surprisingly quiet, and all the front desk folks were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The main elevator was not operational during our stay, but a tiny back-up elevator was available and all we needed to transport suitcases to our room and back. Highly recommended.
