The room is spacious and clean, and the view of the city is breathtaking. I love the bathroom because they have a bathtub. All the staff is nice and speaks English well. Their concierge is also really helpful; we can keep our luggage after check-out, so it was easier for us to stroll around before leaving to the airport.

The hotel is very wonderful. The hotel is right next to a small mall and a local market with good food. Going out a bit is at the foot of the Chong Nonsi bts train for easy access. Is an ideal location. Big room, clean toilet. Quality service attentive, dedicated. Always add 2-3 bottles of mineral water per day. However, the air conditioner in room 2308 was a bit noisy, 26 degrees but very cold like 18. But in summary very good experience with reasonable price, I will come back on next occasions ❤️

The location is quite close to BigC and CentralWorld. The night shift male receptionist and the manager were very attentive and enthusiastic. They helped us contact the driver and fulfilled our requests very well. I was particularly impressed by the night shift male receptionist, as he even guided us to buy things late at night. Overall, the staff's attitude was excellent, and there's nothing to complain about. The room was average but spacious.

The room is clean, the room size is enough for 4 people. The officer is friendly. The accommodation is near with Sathorn pier (just walk around 10 minutes), many street foods around the hotel! Oh, I love to buy street food and don't worry if you come late to the hotel and your stomach is hungry! One more, there is a seller of Thai coffee (locally elderly) but the taste is so authentic! And the price is cheaper if we compare it to tourism attraction. I love to stay in here. Many thanks to Google Translate! Even if they cannot speak in English but don't worry, we can use Google Translate! Highly recommended for friends and families if you want to stay in Bangkok!

A lovely place to stay. When I arrived in the lobby, the staff at reception were attentive and friendly. Amazingly, they gave me a free upgrade which I didn't ask for. Very nice of them to do so. The room was beautifully clean and the furnishings very nice. If I could give my experience 10 stars, I would happily do so. I can't find any fault whatsoever. I will be back for sure.

More about hotels in Bangkok

Move over New York  — Bangkok is the city that never sleeps. Here, incense from golden temples perfume the air right alongside the scintillating smell of street food carts down the alleys, from morning till midnight. Set along the Chao Phraya River, this city is a bold swirl of palaces, markets, river taxis, and tuk-tuk rumbles. Whether you're being struck dumb by the beauty of the Grand Palace, picking your way through Chatuchak’s endless stalls, or simply seeking the next Thai iced tea to beat the heat, Bangkok lines up sensory overload in the best way. From luxury high-rises to backpacker hubs, this city’s stays match every pace. You just have to pick your playground.

Where to stay in Bangkok

  • Sukhumvit: Shop till you drop, sip till you slip (but not too much). Sukhumvit’s for anyone chasing Bangkok’s modern buzz. Rooftop bars, mega-malls, global eats, all stitched together by the Skytrain.
  • Old Town and Phra Nakhon: Temples, tuk-tuks, and river breezes. Old Town lines up Bangkok’s royal heart. Base yourself here if golden spires, night markets and history on tap sound like your vibe.
  • Siam: Shop, snack, and zip around like a local. Siam’s where Bangkok’s biggest malls meet fast BTS rides — perfect if you want it all on your doorstep without the late-night mayhem.
  • Riverside Bangkok: For slow mornings, ferry rides and riverfront drinks, Riverside’s the go. Hotels here hug the Chao Phraya, lining up city views without the full-blown chaos.
  • Khao San Road: The backpacker classic, loaded with cheap eats, cheaper beers, and hostels by the dozen. Khao San is all noise, neon, and late-night noodle runs. Ideal for budget travellers and party crews.

How much is Bangkok accommodation?

Bangkok does budgets and blowouts like a pro. You can crash in a bunk for loose change, or kick back in a riverside suite with skyline views. Prices climb a bit in the dry season (Nov–Feb) when the weather’s mint. But if you’re happy swapping some sweat for sales, there’s gold in the shoulder months.

  • Backpackers and hostels: From $10 per night. Khao San in particular is lined with party pads, bunk beds, and street stalls dishing up pad Thai for less than your morning coffee back home.
  • Boutique hotels: From $40 per night. Rooftop dips, leafy courtyards, and cosy spots tucked between temples and tuk-tuks — easy bases when you want a breather from the city roar.
  • Mid-range hotels: From $70 per night. Poolside breakfasts, Skytrain stops around the corner, and comfy rooms perfect for crashing after market runs or rooftop sundowners.
  • Luxury hotels: From $200 per night. Think tower suites, riverside spas, and infinity pools that skim the skyline. Bangkok’s blowout stays are all about big views and bigger breakfasts.

Top-rated hotels in Bangkok

These are some of the top-rated Bangkok accommodations by real Traveloka users.

  • Holiday Inn Bangkok: Smack between Siam’s biggest malls, Holiday Inn keeps it simple: comfy beds, big breakfasts, and a pool for cooling off after a retail sprint. Great pick for families and first-timers.
  • Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square: Shop, snack, swim, repeat. Novotel throws in rooftop dips, buffet spreads, and one of the easiest BTS links for zipping around Bangkok like a local.
  • Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok: Five-star flash without the faff. Grand Hyatt nails the big city stay — sky-high lounges, spa days, and a Skywalk at your doorstep for shopping runs that never quit.
  • PLOY Hostel: Rooftop hangs, clean bunks, and just enough buzz without the bedlam. PLOY’s a sweet base if you want to walk to Old Town’s temples and do Khao San’s night runs, minus the 3am drum circles.
  • Riva Arun Bangkok: The rooftop restaurant with big views is enough to steal our hearts. Riva Arun lines up sunrise shots over Wat Arun, ferry rides out front, and a boutique vibe that feels like a secret in plain sight.

Tips for finding the perfect hotel in Bangkok

  • Stay close to what you actually want to do: Bangkok’s big, busy, and not built for backtracking. Chasing temples? Stay near Old Town. Mall crawl? Base yourself around Siam or Sukhumvit.
  • Dodge the heat  and the price hikes: November to February nails it: cool(ish) weather, temple fairs, river festivals. But if you don’t mind a steamy stroll, May and October mean cheaper stays (and more tuk-tuks).
  • Get BTS and river ferry access if you can: Cabs and tuk-tuks are fun till you’re stuck in traffic for an hour. Hotels near the BTS Skytrain or Chao Phraya ferries will save you serious sweat.
  • Use Traveloka filters to fast-track your search: Want a rooftop pool for sunset swims? Breakfast buffets before temple runs? Filter it in, book it faster, spend more time chasing mango sticky rice.
  • Look out for bundle deals that throw in ferry passes or spa perks: Plenty of Bangkok stays throw in free ferry rides, spa sessions, or monster breakfasts when you bundle. More baht left over for night markets and rooftop cocktails.
