The Hotel and food were great. Our ocean front one bedroom villa was outstanding with its own plunge pool. Worth the extra expense. Also the Thai Massage at the spa was outstanding. We highly recommend it. The beach fire walker show was very well done. Great place to catch some rest and downtime after travelling several destinations in Thailand.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff very helpful, service was excellent. The resort is large and transportation is by trolly . They were very quick and efficient. We did not wait more than 5 mins for a trolly. The breakfast was very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
One improvement could be at the Beach/ Ocean area. As the ocean here experiences Riptides, the warning flag is by the pool area and not the beach. The flag should be closer to the actual beach /entry to the ocean for safety reasons. One teenager in our group entered the water, the kids were not aware the flag at the pool was for the beach. Thankfully he got out quickly and was safe. If you have kids, please make them aware of this.

We stayed four nights in a beautiful villa overlooking the sea. Service was good enough (staff really made an effort, especially Ping and Beauty), and the premises of the hotel were OK. However, none of this justified the price of about 1000 euro daily we were charged. The breakfast room was a big, sad, and noisy hall with lots of poorly-dressed guests swarming around with plenty of children. We needed to arrive early if we wanted to be seated at a decent table. Their private beach was underwhelming. In short, if you’re looking for an exclusive and relaxing experience, this resort is not from you.

The service at the Ritz-Carlton was amazing.
The beautiful people working at the resort were so kind, appreciative, helpful above and beyond anything you could ask for.
The housekeeping was spectacular and the turn down service always left a wonderful gift of Samui sweets and delicacies.
I can’t speak highly enough of all at the resort staff. They made a great destination an even greater experience.

Absolutely amazing and relaxing stay. The villas are a bit old but lovely and comfortable, but they are refurbing this year also.
Can’t say enough about how friendly the staff are and while yes you could point out a few small improvements there is absolutely no need as the positive out way any small imperfections.
Definitely recommend the ranch restaurant worth every penny and the Thai restaurant was amazing food and staff.
We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay for our wedding anniversary. The property is well maintained and cared for. They drive you around in golf carts because the property is so big. We loved getting picked up each time. It was like being in a cute little town. The staff were very friendly and very happy to work there. They were kind and very helpful. We got a special welcoming treat for our anniversary and it was very thoughtful. Each night we were given tasty local treats. They pay attention to every detail. It was so romantic and unforgettable. The sunsets there are a dream. The spa was wonderful and high tea was delicious. The Ritz does not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back. Definitely one of our favorite spots in the world.

Overall my stay was pleasant. The villa was beautiful. The food at the buffet was good. Staff was generally nice and pleasant.
The cons: they need to update the rooms. What I mean is that they need to upgrade the to Smart TV, maybe add USB plugs in the room.
The staff seems stressed. They need to smile more when engaging with the guest. the customer service needs some work. At once instant, I called to get a beach towel 3x, on the 4th attempt I ended up going to the lobby and explained what I needed. I had to wait over 20-30 minutes to get a beach towel.
the lady who manages luggage and traffic at the entrance seemed a bit frazzled and didn't have a good grip on the situation and was not very efficient with managing the cars and people. It was confusing.
I forgot my USB plug at home and needed to charge my AirPods. I asked if I could borrow a USB plug. Their response was we do not have any. For a 5 star hotel, you would expect that they will carry one.
I have stayed at other luxury hotels where they are able to anticipate the needs of the guest. I hoped they would have anticipated the needs of guest and be more organized in their response.
That being said, the facility is pretty. I loved the villa and the stay was generally pleasant. I probably would not stay at this facility again.
