Had an excellent stay at the Akra hotel, visited middle of May. Hotel is perfectly located only 20-30 mins from the airport and 15-20 mins from the old town. The hotel itself met all my expectations - they have dedicated guest experience & concierge desks manned throughout the day to assist, on top of a phone service from your room. Was met with a free drink, wine & fruit platter in my room on arrival. I had a sea room view and it was spacious enough with balcony, only downside was that the pictures on Expedia showed a couch in the room, however one was not present. The beautiful view made up for it. The hotel has all the amenities you could need, from 3-4 restaurants (one is an amazing rooftop restaurant), 24hr bar, high quality gym & spa, shops to buy souvenirs or toiletries, Buffett breakfast, work space, 3 pools, with one being an infinity pool and lastly a pseudo beach. Not necessarily a sandy beach I would’ve hoped for but the hotel is perched off a cliff edge so getting a sandy beach would’ve been tough. However Lara beach is only a 30 min drive away. All in all I would highly recommend staying at Akra if holidaying in Antalya…chefs kiss.

On the day of departure, my rental vehicle had a flat tire. Faruk, main valet person in the morning, was very helpful. He called AVIS roadside service and helped arrange the tire repair. He helped to the end. Overall staffs were very friendly and helpful. Location in Lara Park is convenient and easy to walk to many restaurants. I would stay again!

They misled me. Before I booked, I was told I’d be able to extend my stay by a few hours, but after I completed the booking, they changed their answer and said it wasn’t possible. I was left to wait around in the lobby for 4 hours….I was more than happy to pay the additional fee, I did also specify everything in detail, yet I was repeatedly told NO

My wife and I came to Akra hotel for our honeymoon and could not have been happier. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, we were met with the upmost kindness from the staff. We originally signed up for a seaside room but the front staff recommended the bigger room which was the best decision ever. Once you upgrade to the bigger suites you have access to the 10th floor breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner buffets that were all complimentary of your stay. This saves us a lot of time and planning on where to eat. The hotel has a private area for the beach and we went every single day and were able to see clearly through the turquoise waters. They also have 4 other pools, a sauna, hamam, and massive gym. They have shops on the lower levels which I would take advantage of. If you are staying in Antalya this is the very best place to do it and you are constantly going to feel at ease during your travel. Could not have been happier!!!

Our reservation clearly stated this was for a wedding anniversary, and we even checked in together. Yet, we were given a room with two twin beds pushed together and separate blankets for each. What a 'thoughtful' touch for a couple’s celebration! Absolutely clueless management. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, look elsewhere.

breakfast is always fresh and plentiful. staff are excellent. views are amazing of the sea and the taurus mountains 360 degrees.. ambience and beautiful smell on arrival. rooms have been updated and everything is comfortable. love this hotel. Only downside for me personally after numerous occasions the Pablito restaurant food could be alot better, always disappointing food . sorry! the main restaurant however amazing..

Breakfast was fab, excellent variety of fresh local and continental foods. Gym and wellnrsss centre was possibly the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Altogether a very good stay. Slightly annoyed by the differing pricing we received for late check out. The first receptionist told us €120 which was kind of staggering and not far off price for the night. We went back to the desk and were offered €60 which seemed far more reasonable. So worthwhile negotiating or escalating.
